As you have made significant contributions at our group i thought it only fair that i assist you in return.
Hopefully this post will be of some assistance to those reading.Esentially this was a response i gave recently to someone at our group who was in dire need of Traffic and who had limited income .
It's always something i find extremely difficult to propose suggestions to someone in your precarious position as i'm sure finances are tight and you are looking for free alternatives ?
Well it really depends on what your blogs are promoting and the competition for traffic in your chosen niches.However here is a traffic generating map for you and it's all Free.
1.Get your own domain name ( Free Sites Serve A Purpose But That's All)
2.Start building back links from high PR sites as follows all with links back to your main site/blog.
FREE
Squidoo Lens
Hub-Pages
Zimbio
Wikidot
Wordpress
Craigs List
Video Sites ( You Tube ,Metcafe etc)
Post On Twitter ( Many Free Plug ins available )
Social Bookmarking Sites
Article Directories ( Ezine being most well known )
Post on Forums
I hope this is of help to you and i guarantee if you "Take Action" with above you will see a significant increase in your Traffic.I can't promise more sales as how good your content ,layout and products offered will determine that.
In case anyone has told you all you have to do is put a site up and the money just rolls in ? Then you have been lied to Internet Marketing does involve a lot of hard work i'm afraid ( If you call sitting in front of a computer hard work) patience,perseverence,dedication and a good helping of desire.
However once you have a system to follow it does become much easier and the above is exactly what i utilise on all products i promote.

well from my experienced, its no use making hubpages, because linking outsite the hub is prohibited by the hubpages.com, which means you cannot have any of your backlinks from hubpages, though you may be able to do it, with tags and other stuffs, but that also you have to indirectly to it, which for me i don't like that kind of link back, well my point here is, you are building a network and if you don't have proper good link back, than whats the use, in case you happen to do well, having linkback from hubpages, someone will mark you as spam in near future,which means very very bad again, so from my point of view, its not promoting your articles,you are just promoting hubpages in one way. think about it.
my experiences on hubpages.
Squidoo, good for having a solid link back,and twitter one of the best to get your blog exposed, just use wp plugin for twitter, it's just fantastic, awesome.
than the rest of the list, its good for getting lots of link back, Zimbio,Wikidot and so on and so forth, dont have any problems having great link back.
Remember, i dont have any ill feeling about hubpages, they are good with their own stuff.
maybe your guys are doing good, but if you look in terms of longer period of time, i don't suggest Hubpages, rather stick and be stronger in blogcatalog, i am not against hubpages, but if something is not worth working on it, than whats the point of spending your time on it.
Thinking about it.

and list goes on but i dont see any traffic from hubpages????? -

I use most of those listed by Soregrapes, but not hubpages... Also some of those listed by Doug. However, which are the best in bringing traffic in your opinion? I'll try to answer later to this question also. Thanks. -

How to use Craiglist? the best way? he has thousands of pages and ad services so I don't know which is the best... Thanks.
