This is another free resource and highly recommended.
Squidoo is one my biggest traffic generators.
Here is a brief description taken from Wikipedia. They do a wonderful job of summarizing Squidoo:
"Squidoo is a network of user-generated lenses --single pages that highlight one person's point of view, recommendations, or expertise. Lenses can be about anything, such as ideas, people or places, hobbies and sports, pets or products, philosophy, and politics."

Thanks for the links you provided!
I like using Squidoo alot.
I have a few lenses.
I have one main lens that I try to update at least 3 times per week.
squidoo.com/ninakuriloff
Actually my lens ranking remains higher if I update my lenses at least 5 times per week.

I have one lense on Squidoo. It is such an enormous site, that I have barely scratched the surface in exploring it. If I spend all my time exploring on the internet, I would get cobwebs on my easel! Can't have that!

Hi Carol,
I completely understand where you are coming from. You definitely do not want to spend all of your time on the Internet, however you should certainly devote some of your time to learning how to market yourself online. Its all about managing your time.
The Internet is growing at an alarming rate. I know of no other way to reach so many potential customers in such a short period of time and at a fraction of the cost of traditional marketing.
Many artists are catching on to this and in order to compete I feel it would benefit every artist to become more familiar with Internet Marketing.
Take things slowly. Devote a few hours a week on one thing, like Squidoo for instance, and then move on to the next. The important thing is to just start and don't give up.
Sure this is all hard work. No one ever said success was easy...
