Blog Action Day is every year on October 15. Bloggers all over the world discuss the same topic on that day in hopes of triggering global change. The theme for 2008 is poverty. Bloggers are encouraged to register for free at http://blogactionday.org, blog about poverty in some way on October 15, and (if they want) donate or lend money to the poor through http://www.change.org/blogactionday or http://www.kiva.org/team/blogactionday.
