   Let me tell you what I know about this. My main principle is to write very quality and unique content which if other bloggers or site owner and why not your reader like may link to their site and your blog rank will increase.

   The easiest way to increase your ranking is by building backlinks and having good content. It takes time to build up your blog ranking. There are many ways to get backlinks - for example, by putting your blog url in your sig. line is a classic way. Article marketing, press releases, forums, directories, social networks, social bookmarking, etc. all are good too.
