How much do you make a month on Adsense?

G'day, I just wanted to know how much people make a month from Adsense? I'm really interested to know whether Adsense is worth my while. Cheers.

I have spent a month with adsense and now I have $ 5.75-
about $20 per month from Adsense alone. It's working ok for me once I got more content and traffic. -
Hope you don't mind me asking, but do you get alot of traffic?
I'm just wondering if lots of traffic means lots of clicks? Cheers.

I have made a whole $1.00 from one whole month. Its hard I guess. Have got to play around it more, I guess...! Learn through doing!-
So how many clicks did it say you needed to get to make a dollar?

Using my two web-sites from which one comes with a blog I have made approximately $10 since October last year (2007). However, last month I made $4.
The income is related to two factors.
1) The amount of people visiting your site (i.e. your traffic)
2) The so called "CTR" click through ratio (i.e. the number of people clicking on one of the Adsense adds).
As far as I have heard CTR is somewhere between 1% and 10%, 1% being more realistic I think.
The amount of people visiting your web site mainly depends on Google as far as I have understood.... Most people who visit my site come through Google.
By the way the two web-sites I am using:

Ah cheers. So how do you know people are coming to your site through Google? And what do you do to increase your rank on Google? Just wanted to know because if I type in the name of my blog on Google I don't see my page come up.

you have got to let the spider run for a while~~ get it indexed~~ if your site has run for more than a month, than probably you need to continue to either write more relevant content onto it or read/reference other successful blogs~~ there are actually so many things you could/should do~~ which i cant list here, too much~~ hopefully some professionals here can better assist you.

I know because the service profider who hosts my web sites offers "awstat", "webalizer" and such tools to analyse the traffic you get. Any good hoster does offer this to you. Of course, Google offers it as well but I am not using it (since I do not need it). I guess my host has a more direct and thus more complete view of the traffic since the machines are physically his!
To be able to earn money it is important that you understand where your traffic is coming from and where it is going two. If you search for "gnss blog" in Google my BLOG shows up normally as #1 sometimes #2. Not bad but GNSS is really a very very tiny tiny niche....

I've read that you should post half of your blog, then put a "read more" or "continue reading" tab. That way if someone wants to finish reading the blog they have to click on the tab, which counts as another click on your site, and then they have to click back to the main page when they're done.-

That particular day I had gotten 481 clicks. I had never gotten that many before, I usually average around 170 or 180 daily because my blog is new, but I have been submitting my blog to directories that cater to dog lovers. I also have been leaving comments on the other blogs on the directories. The more comments I leave the more traffic I get as most of the time the blogger will visit my site leave a comment of their own. It's alot of typing and I have made a list of the blogs I've visited just to keep track. I also answer any comments just to keep the lines of communication open with those who visit my site. I've added an e-mail subscription and with that I've picked up a few regulars who visit daily.-

I generate about $20.00 a month however that is pretty much just set up and runs on autopilot I focus my energy on other profits centers. Adsense is a great way to capture revenue from the tire kickers. I have noticed that as I get better at other areas of my marketing my adsense revenue increases. -

a regular $200 mate...and am so lazy nowadays....actually, one day i made $49.....and at times i make nothing in a day.....Work towards getting more traffic and you can certainly earn a living with adsense. Unfortunately, I only make like $1.00 per month from adsense. I do much better with affiliate marketing. Well-placed ads for affiliates appropriate to your content will make you money faster, IMO.
Another easy way to make money from your site is sign up for CashCrate (www.cashcrate.com/1643915). You get money for referrals, so if you put a banner up on your page for it you can easily gain a lot of referrals and quick cash. It took 7 months to earn my first $100 in Adsense, 5 more months for my 2nd $100 in Adsense, and I averaged about $30 per month the last two months, I may make my 3rd hundred in 4 months, so I am steadily increasing my income. At this rate I should be at $50 per month by January 2010ish, I do have it spread out across three blogs, and over 1500 posts combined between the 3 blogs, with all 3 blogs bringing in over 1000 visits per day combined. -
