Chandigarh Bloggers' Alliance

Today (Friday, 11 July , 8.00 PM) , in the Chat Conference that was attended by Mohit, Gaurav, Sameer and Myself - various names were proposed for the community that we developing into.


Out of the following suggestions::

-Chandigarh Bloggers' Association
-Chandigarh Bloggers' Bloc
-Chandigarh Bloggers' Confederation
-Chandigarh Bloggers' Colloquium
-Chandigarh Bloggers' Parley
-Chandigarh Bloggers' Alliance

, all of us liked Chandigarh Bloggers' Alliance the most - So we have picked it up as the final (Official) name for the Community.

Before we go ahead with using this name- we invite your input, that is (both) welcome and valuable to us and the community as a whole.

    Technically the name dose not refers the true spirit as alliance means:

    "An alliance is an agreement between two or more parties, made in order to advance common goals and to secure common interests"

    Means when two parties get together for a same goal then its called to be:
    There is an "alliance" between them.

    IF majority of us decided it with some more people are giving their confirmations on it then i think we can go with this name without digging out more on its technical implication.

    So welcome all to the Chandigarh Bloggers alliance.
    I must say "it a nice pick" Whats say ?

    Indeed it is a nice pick, Shankar - We all have "agreed" to "advance towards common goals" of spreading awareness about Blogging in North India, convert the non-bloggers into bloggers and to help the existing bloggers to get better.

      We absolutely don't - Sunil. Its rather a privilege to have bloggers (from outside our region) like you as our special members.

      Basically, we are looking forward to integrate the bloggers community in Chandigarh and North India as a whole, and having you (and more like you) in the alliance will be a motivational factor for them to join us.
