So in a few weeks, I may well know what a rejection slip looks like

  3. I've published book reviews and poetry and wrote a column on personal finance for a time. My professional duties involve a lot of copywriting (for both web and print) and editing.
    1. good to know that, welcome to community all.
  4. I have written 2 books, one of which I am seeking conventional publishing for royalties and the other is mostly poetry that shows how to let go of past pains from abuse, and what life looks like on the other side of it! I am going to be marketing that book as an ebook. I am a writer and an artist and I am so blessed that I get to do what I am passionate about every single day of my life.

I am only about 2 weeks old at blogging, but I have found a plethora of wonderful writers and people who already have taught me things that have only continued to make the flame of passion within my heart burn brighter! I am so grateful for being invited to be here! I hope that you all have a fabulous day!
  5. Well I just started work on my first novel... Actually it started as a screenplay, but as it turns out, I can't write screenplays. I was writing the thing with the intention of shooting it, which was just far too constricting. I decided that I thought my writing style would be better suited for the novel format anyway, so I just took that same story, expanded it MUCH further than I had ever anticipated the first time 'round, and started to grind out chapters. They're pretty short, seeing as I'm still in high school, and have quite a bit on plate anyway, but I prefer the pacing of short chapters anyway.

Well, that was a tad long-winded. Regardless, I'm posting the thing as I go on its very own blog, and I'd really appreciate anyone's comments. I'm always looking to grow.

  6. I have written several articles that have been published. Some were published with me listed as the author and some of the articles were set up with me as a ghostwriter. I write for several places, including www.helium.com. Helium is a great place to write for because you can increase your exposure, write about topics that matter to you and make money. In addition to the articles, I have written a couple of ebooks and several songs. Last, but not least, I write for a dating tips site I own called www.thedatingtipsmagazine.com, my site www.pagechain.net, another site I own created called www.pureblogic.com and a few other sites that I own & manage.

I own a software & web design firm and my principal thing to do is program, however, writing is a tremendous part of my life and I do it every single day for the sites I run. I love writing everything and anything, including long responses to questions about writing on BlogCatalog :-). I think I'll stop now.

I looooooooovvvvvvvvvvve writing so much! It is a great way to communicate!
