Simple Tips to Help You Get to Sleep, including some we're quite sure you've never seen before.

They're all designed to help you deal with the tension, stress and anxiety that lead to insomnia, so that you can enjoy a good night's sleep.

  1. thanks for the tips. I do most on the list, but include wine at night which is probably my problem.
    1. honestly, i've tried wine to help me get to sleep. but i really have to drink much til i get dizzy to get to sleep. lol. so i stopped drinking it.
  2. I do most on the list but I wont gibe up my coffee, by the way I stop my coffee around 4.00pm in the afternoon sometimes I drink around 5 cups of coffee a day not very strong.
    1. i only drink 1 cup a day. that's when i arrive office to keep my adrenaline running.
  3. Eat a turkey sandwich! Turkey and lettuce are foods that have a natural sedative in them. Yawn!
    1. this is a unique suggestion. might work. have to try.
  4. i tried warm milk and i think it worked. got a good night sleep last night. wooohooo.

    I can fall asleep (and usually do) in a room full of people talking away in the middle of the day after a good turkey meal but I normally have a hard time sleeping at night.

  7. Hot chocolate. Or any warm chocolate / milky drinks. But you'll gain weight... =p
  8. tips for had a good sleep is take vitamin b complex everyday.because b- complex is vitamins for all the nerves in our body,thats all i can share friends
  9. Try making a list of all the stuff you have to accomplish the next day. Then go to bed, free of the nagging need to "be sure to remember."
    Try drinking hot water, instead of hot tea. It's relaxing, without caffeine.
    Try reading a high school history textbook. You can buy a used one cheap. It always put me to sleep in high school.
    Try watching PBS late at night.
  10. To see degital screen such as TV or computer before you sleep bothers your brain.
    Better to change to read a book, or some other "analog" ritual action at every night.(without any special emotional provocation)
    1. i'm not a big fan of reading books. but may try if i still don't get good sleep in straight 1 week.
