      it does increase traffic but were not sure if their interested in reading our stuff. But their are ways you can make them stop and read your stuff. The reason I powerdrop is for points. The only time i read other peoples blog is if their topic interest me. And I get attracted by good and nicely thought of headers.

      I spend an average of 1 to 2hours a day due to slow internet connection. Sometimes it takes me 4 hours to finish because i find some interesting topics that are worth reading while i do my daily drops which slows me down. But if i'm focused on dropping only, it just takes me 45 minutes. No reading, just droppin'

      ok, I suppose you would spend more time if you drop 300 daily with your connection, maybe 2 hours. Now, what do you think, what can bring you that 300 drops per day, when you need 2k or 4k credits to advertise on major blogs for JUST ONE DAY? You do the math, you need 10 days, which is 20 hours to earn enough credits to advertise on John Chow, let's say. Am I correct? Is it worth it?

   @vocino I didn't say EntreCard is worthless, just Powerdropping is waste of time. I'm not against EC in general, I think it can have good future and I also think you are spamming a little bit here, but I like your blog

   Hmm, I don't think I'm spamming. I just joined this group so I caught up on the threads by posting what they asked for. How is that spamming?
   
   Also, in general, EC is worthless. The quality of traffic is horrible. My rate of declining ads must be pretty high at this point because I kick all the spam blogs -- which are mostly the ones that ask to advertise.

      I agree with you that quality of traffic is dangerously bad, but is that something we expected from the start? Quality can improve however if EC becomes more social network and less credit-hunters service, which I believe will happen with new demand oriented pricing.
      
      You don't have to decline spam blogs, they can work for you. If you leave them in your waiting queue, they will increase your price

   Now,you can't say Ec is totaly worthless. It helps newbie bloggers earn some recognition. But beyond that its simply not worth the time. You will get better quality traffic if you spend that much time on your blog.

   I agree on both sides. Entrecard is not the best traffic generators but not the worst. Dropping 300 cards a day is not that hard after all. And lets look at the good sides of Entrecard , it generates some traffic at least .. isn`t that great ? Isn`t it better than nothing ?

   I don't mind powerdropping honestly. but after a while i wonder are people visiting the site just for the sack of dropping a card or reading your site. I would rather the people visit and take notice of the articles. Powerdropping is great for getting new visitors and higher traffic. But as to whether you will get quality communication. That's to be questioned.

    I do it to build my site's traffic. I need the traffic coz my blog is fairly new. BTW I can do the 300 drops in 45 minutes, so its not really time consuming for me.

    I've found that Power Dropping doesn't bring the kind of traffic I'm interested in to my site. It's a hit and run kinda thing. Not for me. I did it for about 3 months. I think the time I spent dropping is better spent writing articles. I do still participate in EntreCard. I think it's great for finding new blogs, new ideas. I drop maybe 10 times a day now.
