      I would attribute this to the writer's strike--since there are only five more episodes this season, they have a lot to accomplish in not much air time. But I'm pretty sure that this episode was the last one completed BEFORE the strike, so that doesn't explain it. I did read recently that the writers had been "holding back" during the first three seasons because they didn't know how long they were going to have to string out the story and now they're finally moving forward, so maybe they have some catching up to do.

   We missed it, too, because it's Holy Week (evening mass on Thursday), but I was surprised to discover that it was on On Demand already this morning so we watched it over lunch.

      I felt like that was such a non sequitor. Maybe there will be some relevance later, but don't we have enough twists per episode just trying to sort out the primary mysteries?

   I just found this group and was very excited. Lost is my favorite show. I really think that only Karl died. I have a feeling that Danielle will show up again. I don't think they will kill her off like that. I loved seeing Tom again. It wasn't as good as a cliffhanger should be but it wasn't supposed to be one - can't blame Lost for the writer's strike. Only a few weeks left.
