Here are the new guidelines for getting your blog reviewed.

If you have a (good) blog, I will review it. There will be 1 review per day, if I have enough time ;)
I don't guarantee all blogs to get reviewed and I will have people helping me check the sites.

If you can put a backlink to my other site: http://www.seanrasmussen.com I will appreciate it, however it's not neccessary to get your site reviewed. If it is good, it will be reviewed.

DoYouDiggIt! is now PR3 on Google. We got the page one listing in only a few days. The next step is now to start reviewing a blog every day. Stay tuned and keep an eye on it.
If you want to help, a Digg will certainly help when any post is published. There are also old posts in there that can use it.
Reviews in other places such as StumbleUpon would also help.
Please leave feedback in here about the blog.

www.doyoudiggit.com is now listed at #1 on Google for the search term: do you digg it

I promised you this when we started this group. Now, I'm waiting for the next Google update to see if we can add some PR to the equation.

I didn't really look for the Google position until now. I simply was showing someone how it only was 3rd behind DIGG (as Digg has about 18,000,000 pages) and it now showed up as #1 for the long tail keyphrase.

Leave me some feedback on sites that may be good for a review. I want quality site that will attract people as compelling reading. Thanks!

9 Feb 2008: www.doyoudiggit.com is now listed on Google with 14 pages indexed
* I purchased the domain on 30th January 2008
* The site went live 7th Feb 2008 (possibly 6th Feb US time). It was indexed the same day.

This is from Googles cache:

The challenge is now this: How long will it take to get ranked #1 for the keyphrase: "Do You Digg It" ?

"Do You Digg It" only competes with 21,200 pages (on my search). That one will be easy.

Do You Digg It - competes with 14,400,000 pages. A bit more of a challenge.

Lets see how I go.

The reason this blog has gone online is to display how fast a blog can go from ZERO to (somewhere) in a short time using whitehat SEO and very simple genuine methods.

I want this to be available in real-time. Everyone seems to tell the story of what they did, after the fact. This will just be a display of a normal blog and (hopefully) its rise out of the ashes. :)

DoYouDiggIt will be live on Monday 4th Feb. Whoever wants to be first cab off the rank can go ahead and do a review of www.seanrasmussen.com or the Mindset Mastery ebook.

Post it on your blog and email me at sean@doyoudiggit.com with your URL and the preferred keywords etc that you want in your review. It will be posted on www.doyougiggit.com

My site will start out with a PR0 (obviously). If you look at some of the other blogs and sites, I normally have the site up to PR2 or 3 within 3 months if they are active.

I have deliberately started this group PRIOR to the site going live. www.doyoudiggit.com

The purpose of this is from an SEO point of view. I want to show how fast a site can build in PR traffic, popularity etc and have people actually testifying to the fact that they saw the site was brand new.

For those of you that know what to do, you can do a search on the domain name and see it was registered 30th January 2008

Hopefully, I wont be eating humble pie. Putting the neck on the line is one of the best ways to get something happening.

This is a Non-Monetized blog and will stay that way.

• Don’t link to DoYouDiggIt. If you do so, it will turn into a reciprocal link and that is of little SEO value to your site.

• My review on www.DoYouDiggIt.com will point (link) to your site with a preferred keyword in the body copy.That will be a one-way link.

• Your review will point (link) to my other blog (www.seanrasmussen.com). That will also be a one-way link. We both benefit from this exercise.

• This is NOT a linking exercise. I’m doing this to create a great website and put my neck on the line by showing the exact starting date of the website so you can view the growth. The links will be handy AND it is also a way to make the reviewed sites work for their review. Otherwise I’ll just get 100,000 blog review requests and have no life at all (and probably not much appreciation for it).

2. Preferred keyword phrases for us to choose from for your site (if they are unworkable for the review, we may choose other wording)

3. Any further email contact, please keep the same subject header (just with a Re: in front). Then I will be able to sort them easier.

4. Please don’t email me until the review is posted on your blog. This will make life a lot easier for me AND your site won’t end up at the bottom of the waiting list.

3. Have at least one link pointing to my blog with a keyword of your choice (anything you think suits). This link must be a part of the BODY COPY in the review.

3a. Please link to http://www.seanrasmussen.com or the full URL to an internal article. Keep the www in the URL.

4. Contact me to let me know you have posted the review on your blog. Supply the full URL so I can locate it easily. Read the topic: "Contact Details"

5. Make it an honest review. I like honesty and will not take offense from criticism. If you don't like, tell it that way. If you like, praise is appreciated.

6. The review of your site on www.DoYouDiggIt.com will not be influenced by your review of www.seanrasmussen.com

7. I don’t want to link to other sites. Your blog that has the review on it will get the review & one-way link.
