In a way I could be quite well off in the future because my father has a piece of land close to Polish capital Warsaw.
Personally I have a flat which is now worth above $100,000 but I don`t consider it my investment since I need some place to live anyway. Its price in dollars looks nice because of dollar`s weakness and a boom in Polish real estate. -
Suppose you'd sell your flat and buy a 50K one. You'd be left with other 50K. But without USING those 50K, by investing, trading etc..., you will end up losing this cash and remain with a 50K flat. Now, you should define what "rich" means for you. Perhaps you want a million bucks to consider yourself rich. Others would say a million bucks is how much they spend monthly on luxury cars, expensive hotel nights, women and drinks. I'd be rich if by the next year I will have 10K and make enough monthly not to go to work! My target rate is 800%. Of course, I'd rather secure a part of money and reinvest it in other trading activities, with a lesser rate, but in a safer place. Rich... is when you look at yourself in a mirror, and be proud of what you are, what you have, what you do and how you live. Of course, money is just a means to achieve that...

I like my flat and don`t want to move to a smaller one unless I have to.
In my opinion, I will be rich at the moment when I get enough cashflow from my investments that will cover all my ordinary expenses.
Now it means around $2,500 a month.
For me, to be rich means to be free of compulsory work.
I would blog anyway. It`s fun. -
Seems you look at it similar to me. However...rich includes happy. You must be happy being rich. The freedom is not complete, as long as something is missing from your life, you won't be "rich". For example, I live in a small, completely unattractive town. Suppose I'd escape working and not have anything to do at all. I'd go nuts staying home. Covering expenses and buying small things without the need to work won't make me happy unless I really change my town , move away and have lots of fun... Freedom from work is just the first step of richness. But the freedom to master your own life, to freely choose where to live, and mostly HOW to live, that is the real ultimate richness. I don't necessarily need have a few yachts in the harbor, and the last Bugatti Veyron in the garage , but I would need the purchasing power to pick up the telephone, rent a limo and have a trip to wherever I want in the country. I'd consider myself rich when I will be "a son of a bitch" , the kind of man that women want to get their hands on and the other men swear about between their teeth...

Interesting take on what many consider to be rich. Rich to me is not having to work but still enjoy many things that I like to do such as travel, cars, upgrade my home, own beach front property. I dont need money to enjoy my family becasue I do that regardless of how much money I have. I am already rich in that respect.

Have you ever considered the Forex Market? I am a full time trader and have been for several years. Ilove making money that way. Right now I am developing a course for beginners so anyone can get started. Any ideas as to what I should include? Take a look at what we already have and let me know what you think:
