We've always been a glass half-full kinda folk. We've been fortunate to take jobs based on opportunity and the skills we'd learn, as opposed to jobs that we had to take to pay the bills. (Don't get me wrong, we had to take these jobs to pay the bills, but our minds spun it around the other way!)
Lately, we've been trying to get out of the rat race. Inspired by great books like Rich Dad Poor Dad, and Affiliate Millions, we set out the door to find our fortunes. Thus began webdiggin.com - an Adventure to Make Money Online. (Another one!)
I love people like John Chow and ShoeMoney who make it look so easy! They've attained a level of expertise that I'd like to share in one day.
Sigh. But sometimes, it's tough to stay motivated when your blog is still PR0 and your traffic can be equally divided between your mom and you.
So, now we're starting a new angle. We've launched our site RipplesOfKindness.com as an experiment. We tend to look on the bright side of life and avoid the nay-sayers, dream-squishers and all that commiseration around the water cooler. But we've also launched a parallel site, SnitchAndBitchCafe.com, where you, well, snitch and bitch about life.
So, the question is... over the next year, which site will be more popular? I hope it's the Ripples of Kindness one. What do you think?

Thanks for raising this and we suggest you adopt a ruthless focus for Ripples and possibly even drop the rest!
Sounds harsh but that focus is needed if $ are to follow - define you niche, develop your Brand like we are at flowers - drop in, smell and post a few comments by all means - if you like it we'll feature Ripples as an example of giving back...

Great idea for the ripples site. I'm also really interested in the form of advertising you have in your right sidebar, titled "seize the day"..I like the way it looks. Can you give me some info about where I can find this?
THanks!

Hey, thanks. I really like the "Seize the Day" widget and it's parallel "May we Suggest" widget on our sister site, www.snitchandbitchcafe.com
I thought I was being hilarious because I would promote the same advertisers from two different perspectives: "Find that perfect relationship. Meet local singles at Lavalife.com" vs "Dump them. Find someone new. Meet local singles at Lavalife.com" ... well, you get the point.
They're all individual companies that are advertising with Commission Junction (www.cj.com) I've had bittersweet success with them. If you check out the left sidebar of our www.webdiggin.com blog, you'll see that we've made around $900 in commissions (mostly commission junction stuff), but we've spent nearly $1200 in advertising. (We've focused to date on pay per click affiliate marketing, plus a few mistakes with Google Adwords, etc)
So. Now, we're branching into generating traffic through our ripples site and seeing if we can sell some things on the side. What I liked best about Commission Junction was they had a variety of products that you could promote which meant that I could work on several campaigns to reach their minimum bank deposit payout. Good luck!
