Jesus preached sooooo much about the Kingdom, and especially in many parables, such that we have plenty of material to discuss and help each other understand what the KOG is all about.

  1. An excellent tool for anyone with a computer to study the Bible when they need to find every reference to a topic, word or phrase, is the E-SWORD software, which is free.

For example, I did a search on:

    kingdom heaven like

And it finds many of Jesus' parables.

Mat 13:31 Another parable put he forth unto them, saying, The kingdom of heaven is like to a grain of mustard seed, which a man took, and sowed in his field:
Mat 13:32 Which indeed is the least of all seeds: but when it is grown, it is the greatest among herbs, and becometh a tree, so that the birds of the air come and lodge in the branches thereof.

    Isn't God's word precious?!?!

  2. well, if you combine this parable with the part where God said He looked for one righteous man who would stand in the gap so that God would not judge a whole city, then it makes me wonder if the Kingdom of God can manifest city by city if there is just (at least) one righteous (obeying God) person to start it with, like that little mustard seed.

What does God want us to do?

I am hoping to find some answers by reading these books on the kingdom.

    1. The Kingdom of God Primarily the person of Jesus Christ. He says that all the beleive in him indepenant of there own works recieve his righteousness. The King has a domain, His primary domain is our heart. He knows that when he has dominion in our heart that we will recieve the benifits of the Kingdom.

Seek ye first the Kingdom of God and his righteousness and all these things shall be addded to you!

We are to seek the King having dominion through us recieving his grace, And know that through that grace he has called all men righteous. Then we recieve his life quality. An example of his life style is Isaiah 55.

Grace is about unmerited favor. It is about righteousness that is accounted to you by the justice of God through Jesus the son of His Love.

The Kingdom grows when people recieve the aboundance of grace and reign as kings in life.(Romans 5:17)

God is righteous and he judgess us by Jesus' sacrifice, Which is his righteousness. The Kingdom is the number one message of Jesus and the apostles. Ands this Kingdom is a kingdom of grace, and it is growing through the recieving of that same grace.

  3. I love Jesus' teachings. I have been posting the parables for a while now. I have a couple of my favorites on my brand new blogger site. But I have several more on my Yahoo 360 site.

Along with each parable I have added my own commentary about what God spoke to me. Feel free to check them out and add your own comments!

    Peace be with you!

  4. Born-again or The Kingdom?

Did you know that Jesus never preached that you must be born again? I know what you’re thinking; you’re thinking I’m crazy! The biblical truth is that Jesus only taught an old man, around 2:30AM, about being born again in relation to the Kingdom message. (John 3:1-7) He never preached to the multitudes about being born again. The only message He preached was the Kingdom of God, not born again.

The entire heart of Jesus’ preaching was not about being born again; He went about preaching that the Kingdom of God and that had been restored to man. He rarely spoke about the cross or many other things that the church today preaches to the multitudes or includes in our outreaches. Wait one second before you flip out -Jesus did teach those things to those whom came to seek more knowledge about the Kingdom of God- but teaching and preaching are two different things. You “preach” to those whom don’t know about the Kingdom of God, and you “teach” to those whom do. This is our example, I wonder what would happen if we really decided to follow Jesus’ example? Hmmm, we would probably have a lot more success with evangelism! We would actually answer the needs of the world! We would actually demonstrate the power of the Kingdom of God, and change lives forever, not just entertain them with our stage presence! Pray about it, and think about it!
  5. "The entire heart of Jesus’ preaching was not about being born again; He went about preaching that the Kingdom of God and that had been restored to man."

this is the same as what Miles Munroe is saying in his book.

I have been thrilled to learn about these things this week. I feel like the Lord is preparing me for the next things He desires to do through me.

  6. Did you know that according to Jesus, the Kingdom of God must be preached to the whole world and then the end will come.(Matthew 24:14) So with that said, how close do you think we are to the end?
  7. within 1260 days?

I just read that to my granny today, that whole section in Matthew 24.

God IS doing His exploits through His people now, so I do not know how many of the 1260 days are left.

speaking in the present tense by faith!
