What does it take to qualify to lead the people of a state, county or country for that matter. Education, money, ideals, clout, pursuit, being in then right place at the right time. I'm sure that it takes many things to qualify and be elected to an office. Just recently New York lost it's Governor to a prostitution scandal. Now another Governor has been sworn into office and the new Governor is in the midst of a sex scandal and has admitted to having extra marital affairs.

There is no doubt that human's are far from perfect, and there's no doubt that we all have struggles, deal with issues and have sins. Yet it seems to me that basically the people that end up in these elected offices, that are called to lead the people, who even pass and uphold the laws. They are far from being innocent in their own lives. Yet they are our leaders, those who stand the watch, those intrusted and elected.

Maybe it's too much to want leaders that lead by example. Maybe it's too much to want righteous leaders, men and women of integrity and solid values of integrity that lead by example.

I fear for our country and those whom are called to lead our country. I fear that America is on a course of destruction and tittering on a fine thin line as a nation under the grace of God. The land full of laws, governed by laws, seems to also be a land full of lawlessness, and even among it‘s leaders, those whom should be leading by example.

May America rise up to be the nation that she is called to be, starting with our leaders and those intrusted to their offices.
