Hi, my name is essie. I have two blogs, one of which I am the author, Essentral, and another which is mine but I have a nice writer (Matt Elmsvail, listed here with that blog) who does not like web code, etc. :) They both need more traffic, eek.

Anyway, I meant to spend more time here by now, but have had a crunch of (good) stuff I am self-committed to and can't back out. Now more than ever, I could really use some posting help from some meme posts.

I see you have some resources. I also found a pahe that has memes arranged by the day of the week.

Are we to all use the same one each time, or is it each one their own pick of meme and time?

Maybe you already know about this, but I only just discovered the "Mr. Linky" blog. It hasn't been updated in a while, but it's got a meme wizard that you can customize to your own meme and display links to those participating in a pretty neat box below your meme post. I haven't tried it personally, but I tried it on another blog. Here's the link to the wizard:

Or at least I think its a meme. All I know about memes is that each person in the pipeline follows suit from the previous participant.

It's limited to within blogcatalog members though as it needs to be posted within the community in the specific discussion thread below.

The objective is to read the previous person's blog and post a quote from the latest blog entry. So on and so forth. Its designed to encourage people to actually read fellow members' blogs. In turn it should also push bloggers to post more regularly. My hope is it would help people enjoy reading and blogging more.

So check it out and let me know if it has promise.

I decided to give meme creation a try on my eavesdropping blog. It's not a tag meme but rather a story chain. Readers are invited to write the ending to a conversation I've overheard. I enjoyed playing a role in these, the one thing I feel bad about is I get asked to do memes so often I have to say NO sometimes, which I feel bad about to the ones who ask but I just can't do them all.

I would like to say, don't take it to heart if someone doesn't take up your meme, we cant do them all.

Anyone else have memes they did?
I do think they can be a great way to start a multiblog conversation.
