Feel free to introduce yourself to the group. I will start off.
My name is Twyla aka Xenarae age 22 and I'm a 24/7- 365 day a week mother, jewelry designer, artist, photographer and aspiring fashion designer. Feel free to visit my shop- xenaraesroom.etsy.com
So now you probably see why I've created this group lol. After looking up many different groups I couldn't really find one that fit me so I created one that caters to all of us. I blog about anything, my life, my shop, and will be writing some pretty crazy short stories soon. Before I die I want to have written 3 novels and do 2 movies lol. How's that for a multi- talented artist.

I am a mixed media artist working primarily in the book arts field now, though my back ground is with sculpture. I have had to scale back how I worked because of physical limitations and health challenges, so currently I am keeping the creative flow going via a visual art journal, which is what I post daily on my blog. I use a number of techniques, including drawing, painting, image transfers, block printing, and collage. I'm interested in reusing/recycling in my work (my sculptures were primarily made from found wood, newspaper paper mache, etc) so working in a found book and altering it is satisfying that sensibility in me.
For me, making art is akin to breathing. I become unsettled and disconnected when I go without my art making for too long! Being able to create and express myself via my art has helped me through all my life challenges and celebrations.
I guess that's a good start for an intro!

I'm not surprised to hear that. Being able to create beautiful things and express myself through my artwork helps me too. It's a release and form of therapy for me.

Hi, I'm Sharon of Rose of Sharon Jewelry. I'm a jewelry artist working with 8 other members of my extended family marketing our original jewelry under Rose of Sharon Jewelry. We range in age from 27 to 95! I've been making jewelry for over 5 years and wanted to share my love of silver, pearls, crystals and semi-precious stones.
My favorite part of jewelry making is going through the bead drawers finding just the right shape or color to complete a new necklace. Currently I'm hooked on making silver charm bracelets!

I'm a darkwave/industrial musician and poet. I sing, play keys/synth, bass guitar, electric violin and flute, and also enjoy photography, graphic design, jewelry making and sewing.
