I've decided to start a new regular post for my blog, showing the music I'm listening to right now - drop your suggestions in the comments!

  1. I like the video for My Robot Friend. My first time hearing the song; not usually my style but I like it very cool and hip sound. You can dance or just chill to it.

I think a regular music post is a good idea; how could you go wrong. I just published a post titled Music- my kind of therapy: ll-n-l.blogspot.com/2009/05/music-my-kind-of-therapy.html

Sometimes my music choices are too top 40 but this is the stuff that I hear most often. I hope to become well versed in the underground selections.
  2. I'm really revisiting classic albums like U2's 'Pop' (one of their greatest albums but not critically praised), Joy Division's 'Unknown Pleasures' and The Beatles 'White Album'. I'm also rotating newer albums like Sigur Rós (an Icelandic band), Bat For Lashes and Yeah Yeah Yeahs!
  3. I loved Midfield General’s first album, Generalisation.
Not so sure on the new one though.
I’ll be checking out My Robot Friend for sure.
  4. Thanks for the input. Keep the suggestions coming. I've created a Spotify playlist - drop your favourite tracks in!

    1. You might want to take a look at this link: www.squidoo.com/your-favorite-song . I've got 35 or so songs linked in the mp3 sampler and a bunch of them are still listed in the comments (the search box nukes anything older than six weeks or something like that, but you could probably search Twitter for the #fave-song tag to find the rest.)
  5. I love music. I am a professional musician

listen some songs and download for free
  6. I saw something recently online on nme.com about albums that were sort of ignored and recommending them to people. I think that with the huge amounts of music out there you should be able to seek out some rare items.
