    That is an interesting question... how does one not write about life? I have 3 blogs. One is a collection of political and philosophical thought, two subjects inherently linked to life. The second is a collection of essays on the political with reference to academics who influence our lives. The third is a collection of short stories. Generally written in the sci-fi genre, my short stories seek to explain human nature, our justification and motivation for what we do and how we relate and respond to others... I think it is impossible not to write about life.

    I definitely write about life.
    
    As a white, young, suburbanite I am able to understand things through a mainstream, North American perspective and hear the opinions of others around me who see things that way. But as a gay male and a single 30-something I also have an outsider's perspective and try to find the truth that lives in the middle of these things.
    
    As a thinker and a reader I take a lot of issues really seriously. But as a lazy person and someone who's a little goofy and talks too much I try to laugh at everything whenever possible because being grounded means seeing things from multiple sides and trying to realize how other people see situations.
    
    Whether I'm blogging about things happening in my day or current events I try to relate them to something run of the mill that pertains to my experience because ultimately everyone views everything he or she observes through his or her experiences and I try to share my perspectives and listen to those of others.     Hey y'all,
    
    My name is Iras and I'm a rap lyricist/composer/producer. I've created a website/blog in order to promote my upcoming album entitled : Samael Angel(released on June 2009).
    It's an interesting concept for a rap album : it's a story about an angel who because of his deeds became a devil. The story goes from the first song to the eighteenth.
    
    
    However if you listen to the song 3 without listening to the first and second you'll be hearing the tale of a guy facing some issues at a moment of his life but if you listen to the the song 1, 2 and then 3 you will follow the evolution of our main character. That's how it's been written.
    
    Only the instrumentals are online now but as one goes along the songs will be posted as soon as I'm out of the studio and I'll share it with y'all one by one. You'll then follow the construction of the album step by step.
    The album will also be free however I still have few details to go over concerning the distribution of that album.
    
    Moreover a lot of people have been asking to listen to my voice because they couldn't wait the post of the first songs of Samael Angel (they will be online in few weeks) therefore at the end of the page Iras' Music (www.irasworld.com/iras-music) two songs from previous collaborations was also posted.
    
    Anyway a lot of topics are being dealt with in my website and all of them are a part of my universe.

     Yes, I definitely write about life. I think it's good to share one's experiences and feelings to others so that others may help us, or in some cases, criticize us with our actions or thoughts. But whatever it is, "three ordinary men are better than a wise man", right? And I also believe that we are each other's keepers, we may lose track but we need others to help us go into the right direction of our lives.
