NASCAR Bloggers Full Throttle
If we get enough people interested, I would like to start a new group blog site, with all the members of this as co authors, that we can use as a digest for all our blogs, or to publish additional work. I'm open to either blogger or wordpress. Please tell me what you think.

I'm thinking of a couple of different ways we could use a group blog. The purpose would be to have a single directory that would link back to each of our blogs, sort of like Pajamas Media does for political and social commentary blogs. Entries could be something like this:
Practical Optimism
When it gets to the point in a race where it looks like my favorite driver isn't going to win, it really doesn't matter to me which driver goes to Victory Lane. I just want to see a good race.- read more
Or maybe something like this:
Rev Jim writes about how he uses optimism when following the NASCAR Nextel Cup Chase for the Championship. Read his views here.
Blogger is better for graphics and pictures, but Wordpress has a global dashboard, and I suppose, whether we have a Wordpress blog or not, most of us have a WP identity even if it is to participate in comments. The main thing to remember is that it will be a group website, where our group members may all sign in and post.
If there are any suggestions as to blog engines, format, template, etc, please feel free to post them here.
