The blog is called Noodle House (noodle-house.blogspot.com) It is the place where I put down my thoughts. Like I say on the blog, it is 'an outlet for the sudden, spontaneous and not so spontaneous thoughts which, after finding their way in, grow roots and mutate into something big enough for me to acknowledge their presence in my already over-crowded mess of a brain'

My plans for my young adult fantasy book, which won a Visionary Fiction Award (that means when the reader completes it, they will have a greater vision for their own world), include trading cards, a board game, and an online game. I started 'blogging' in a couple of free sites back in 2001, then I lost them when the sites closed down. I started blogging last year again just to get over my frustration. Hence the name... I call it now East To West because of my origin and now landed elsewhere, i.e. came from South East Asia and now living in Europe and working with figures and numbers. I started blogging in frustration and I needed some way to keep myself motivated. So I decided to blog every day. I was frustrated after wasting a lot of money online. Money that I could have spent on reducing debt.
So I set a new goal to pay off my mortgage ($152,377) in 5 years. My blog is about the ups and downs of life as I do this. Since starting eliminate-my-debt.blogspot.com/ 7 months ago we have made good progress despite having our income halved.
I also blog about financial questions from readers and look up info for them, frugality, emotions and money and so on. I am an Aussie so there is lot's of local information on personal finaces.

Hi, the first question I get asked about my blog is what is behind the title : "broken whole"? I wish it was a simple answer. If you talked to me for a while, you’d guess I’d lived a successful life; I have a beautiful, sexy boyfriend and two dogs in our house in the Hollywood Hills; I have a challenging, well-paid job; a wide variety of friends; and enjoy a large degree of intellectual curiosity. Yet, until recently I'd lived for most of my adult life with chronic depression. Moreover, I feel that I’ve never quite achieved what I expected of myself.
In the summer of 2006, I exploded in a vast manic episode. Before I was diagnosed with bipolar disorder it seemed that, all of a sudden, nothing was preventing me from achieving lifelong goals. At various times during that summer I thought I was going to be a spiritual guru, an epochal intellectual, and a gay Hollywood celebrity. Instead, during one long night of the soul, I crashed, ending up in jail followed up by three days in a psychiatric facility. (I was blogging throughout these experiences).
Since then, through the honest writing in this blog, I’m trying to answer for myself again that question of “whether life is about "to be”" or "“to do”". Along the way, I write about being bipolar, but also about literature, cosmology, spirituality, human interaction, gay culture, body-image and mindfulness, and include the continual visual dialog with myself about my own body-image through homoerotic digital self-portrait photography. -

Gardening, both indoors and outdoors is what I write about. Getting along with nature, just appreciating what's around me--other people's gardens, a houseplant in someone's window, a turtle trying to cross a highway, a rabbit that quietly inhabits my yard, the little chipmunk that dives into a planter of flowers and peeks out at me, the robbins that bathe in a pan of water I set out on the deck and the black squirrels who come to drink from it. Many gardeners fight with nature and try to twist their gardens into a picture-perfect place for their friends to admire. Good for them, but I prefer a more gentle, nature-friendly place. Weeds have a place in my garden too. Less stress, more enjoyment.

Hi there! I am an artist who creates symbolic collages with spritual contents, and my writing is basically personal contemplations about how to be a spritiually minded person in a world that is short of unconditional love. I'm focusing on emotional experiences, since I believe that once we understand them better we'll be better at interacting with each other and building a more solid basis for peace. I do all this through my subjective filter, since I personally feel more attracted to personal stories that are sincere and honest, than accounts based on bookish knowledge. It is very much the kind of art in which people feel they can mirror their own issues, and it can provide an experience of self-exploration and hopefully even some insight (even if it's subconscious it may provide material for your growth).
