   I use my real name (it's even on the header!). I don't get too personal or give away too many details, so I'm comfortable with it.

   I use my real name as the author and the URL has my nickname in it. Either way, using my real name or nickname is the same for me. I always identify myself with Greyer, my nickname is not something I hide behind.

   i never really talk abotu other people other than my boyfriend, who is referred to as boy. and i write everything under the name ames plaza. but my real name is amy. it's not a big secret but i try to keep from shaming the family name or something along those lines. i get ridiculous sometimes.

   I used to do a lot of personal blogging under different nicknames. This had the plus of being a lot more honest about certain topics, and not having to think about what your boss, family, friends, etc might feel or think about you. However this has the downside of not really being recognizable. Additionally if you do become famous under a pseudonym you have extra dilemma of should you disclose your name now? If not keeping up with the anonymity gets a lot harder, and so on.
   
   Now I blog under my full real name, which was challenging not only because your opinions can be viewed by people you know in real life, but also in my case my surname does not do well in English, so it was an extra hurdle to overcome.

   two of our stuff use real names, while the other choses to use a pen name...although his real name and pic is listed under our staff page so it's almost a mute point...
