I can't beleive this one hasn't been posted yet. What pets do you have? And any funny/fun stories? And for those fo you who have a blog about your pets or pets in general, please, feel free to post it in your reply. Let's start sharing our love of pets, and doing by sharing the pets we love most: ours.
I have a pit bull mix (that's what the shelter had him listed as) named Barney. He's a big goof who sleeps and licks too much. I also have two cats (one short haired ginger and one long hairded tuxedo), two rats, and a leopard gecko.

In Argentina, I once took in a stray female dog and a feral cat that were always together. It was the strangest thing. I first saw the dog running up a tree, followed by the cat which seemed to be scoping the territory. It seemed that they were looking out for each other. I'm pretty sure the dog though of itself as a cat. I really enjoyed watching the antics of this duo. My theory is that the dog had been adopted as a puppy by the cat, then just stuck by her side as it grew up, and they protected each other. There were definitely a lot of rough customers in the area who treated stray animals with cruelty. Winning the trust of these two creatures took some doing but we became the best of friends.
