Hermit crabs are awesome because they are quiet, take up little space, eat very little, and are easy to take care of once you invest in a good setup. I have a 55 gallon tank housing 4 hermit crabs and have had good success keeping them alive and healthy. I've had a lot of pets throughout my lifetime, but hermit crabs are the ones that I'll stick to forever.

Aside from dogs, I like ornamental fishes. I love watching and caring for them, especially in fish ponds at the garden. It's therapeutic - both calming and relaxing.

Any pet can be your best friend. I have mini schnauzer and I love him. Recently I met a white parrot and we became great friends!

Is a dog mans best friend or is it a budgie, snail chicken, pig, spider? Do your life commitments determine what the perfect pet for you is.... or did the pet come come first and everything else has had to fit in with your beloved companion?
