Philosophy bloggers contra mundum will be a group of philosophy bloggers and writers who want to differentiate themselves from the following contributors to the meaningless detritus=pile of the blogosphere:

1) the "yes, I believe in crystal magic" "philosophy" blog, where "philosophy" is a shibboleth for extraordinary credulity about
New Agy drivel.

2) the ubiquitious 'angsty live journal blogs' full of one person's attempt to express their feelings badly.

3) "political" blogs consisting of nothing but mechanically produced partisan ideology

4) slavishly academic (how to increase your journal publications) blogs

Against this "Philosophy Bloggers" stand (to use a topic of Michel Houellebecq's book on H.P. Lovecraft) "against the world/against life."
