To get the group up and running it would be nice to get to know each other. Sure, we can click through to each others profiles but that would take a while.

I will start by introducing myself. My name is Neena. I am a 38 year old mom of 4 from Connecticut. I blog about family life at neenmachine.com and about blogging at blogresourcesonline.com. I love being a mom but that job has its own trials and tribulations. I am always in search of good tips to make life a little easier and would love to meet some other blogging parents to share ideas.

  1. Hi Neena. I'm Deb, age 48, and yep, I have sixteen kids. Only twelve live at home though. I posted today about how to cut costs on our food budget because people always ask me how much we spend on food. In the post is an example of a spaghetti dinner costing us $1 per person in round numbers and that provides second helpings for those who want it. With the holidays coming up, I'm always looking for ideas to cut costs so we can buy more gifts! With our number, this is always a stuggle. You're welcome to check it out; it's new, so there isn't much in this line just yet, but there will be.
  2. Hi Deb,
I am so glad that you joined us! Your story is amazing - I enjoyed reading your blog. With 16 kids you should have lots of practical parenting advice for the rest of us! And as always, feel free to invite other bloggers to our group.
  3. Hi Neena and Deb,
I am a newbie here. So I thought it would be nice to introduce myself. My name is Mags and I am a mom of four living in NY. I work full time as well, and figured this was a good starting point to share and learn from other moms about parenting. I am sure we all have different but yet similar stories. I will be checking out all the profiles and blogs. Thanks for having me.
  4. Hi ladies - I saw this group on the directory and am totally into getting some practical tips. Me - I'm a WAHM of 3 boys and am ALWAYS on the prowl for simplifying life itself.

I look forward to meeting all of you and will be sure to check out your blogs. I have to warn you though - I'm not your typical mommy blogger. And I'm working on the cussing. I promise!

  11. Hi everyone,

My best friend and his wife started a parenting blog and a social community for parents. They have a wonderful 1 year old (turned 1 today), who is pretty much like a nephew to me. Any way we joined this group to meet other bloggers with similar interest and to of course invite parents to our community (still in testing phases). The blog is blog.parentsovernight.com and the social community is www.parentsovernight.com.

    Thanks!
  12. Hi.

I have two blogs. One is about our bundles of joy turning into bundles of hormones (the challenges and successes of raising preteens and teenagers) - www.eleven2seventeen.com. The other is about traveling and contains travel reviews, photos, news, humor and tidbits - www.fleecetraveler.com.

I look forward to reading everyone else's blogs.

  16. Hi, I'm Ann, I think this group sounds great. I have one daughter who will be 2 in October who has been wearing glasses for 8 months now. I started a blog, Little Four Eyes - at toddlerglasses.wordpress.com to reach out to other parents who also have young kids in glasses. I know it's a very niche kind of site, but it's been a great way to exchange information and stories. I also keep a more general personal blog at tragicoptimist.wordpress.com.
  17. Hi, I'm Elizabeth, a SAHM mom to three little girls in Virginia. I'm fairly new to the blogging world, but I love it. My blog is about parenting girls and all the drama and fun that goes along with it www.parentingpink.com/blog/. I've also started a website for parents raising daughters called ParentingPink www.parentingpink.com, where you can find informational articles, parenting tips, and contests. I'm always looking for moms and dads to write articles for the site, so please feel free to stop by and "drop some knowledge." Looking forward to meeting everyone.

  20. Howdy, Michael here from a little town called Bethlehem, GA...

I am a 40+ first-time parent of a little girl who is about to turn one year old and a proud Mr. Mom who pulled back from owning and operating a small design firm last summer to focus on raising our daughter while my wife teaches at UGA. I spend my days with my daughter and my evenings with my wife, which leaves the night owl hours for blogging (my new found love).

My blog, The Family Tech Report, is a collaboration of geeks and counselors who have come together as parents to provide real-world reviews, analysis and discussion about the powerful impact technology can have upon their family, home and lifestyle.
