Runners, Runners, Everywhere!

Hi Fellow Bloggers, Runners, & General Sports Enthusiasts,

I'd like to ask you to take 2 seconds & email feedback@digg.com to let them know we could use our own separate "running" category under the Sports section.

Please check out the following links for further information:

And please don't forget to Digg the above articles as yet another way to get Digg to pay attention to us! We are several million strong & it's about time we get recognized by Digg. ;-)

Thanks so much for your participation in this group discussion topic & of course, for your help towards this effort!

  1. Great idea! Consider them Dugg...
    1. Thanks so much, Steve!
  2. Hi Everybody,

Please take a quick moment to digg the above articles as a way to let Digg know you want a separate category for running. It takes 2 seconds to do, but it makes a big impact!

Runner-bloggers will especially benefit from the new classification, as it will allow people a more direct route to our blogs, instead of having them sift through the "Other Sports" categories to find all of the running articles. It's a great way to help increase visibility for our sport & all of our blogs!

Thanks in advance for your support!

    -C

P.S. If you're feeling particularly plucky, then you're more than welcome to drop a quick note to Digg (feedback@digg.com) to add to the growing chorus of voices from runners petitioning for our own separate category. Thanks!
    1. I forgot to mention I emailed the folks at Digg too...
    1. Great! Excellent idea, Steve! Thanks so much for for emailing digg & stumbling these posts.
  3. comment removed by administrator

  4. Whoops, I was trying to comment on the correct thread & deleted my comment, thinking that it'd remove the entry altogether. Weird that it says "removed by the administrator," since that'd be me! ;-)

BTW, speaking of which, since you're so active on BlogCatalog & in the running world at large, I'd like to make you an administrator of the running group. Would you be OK with that? Just let me know. Thanks!

Anyhow, got another idea: I'm going to email the various running organizations - i.e., my local RRCA chapter, CRN, Runner's Web, Runner's World, etc., to see if we can generate some more interest...... There are MANY bloggers affiliated with these groups, so it can only help the cause!
  5. Just checking in to see if anyone else can spread the word about digging the above articles. If everyone in this group could digg the article, that'd really help us increase our visibility & make a better case for getting our own "running" category on Digg. Please do your bit to help! It literally takes a second to digg the articles & your fellow runners/bloggers would all greatly appreciate it! Thanks so much!
    Sincerely,
    Corey
  6. Dugg, and Sent!

  8. Hello Everyone,
If you haven't already done so, please digg above articles or email Digg (feedback@digg.com) to help us runners petition to get our own category. Every Digg counts! Please help us.
Thanks in advance for your Diggs & emails,
    -C
  9. OK, people, it's that time again to ask for your Digg votes. Please help the running community out by voting & making your voice heard!

It's easy & takes about 5 seconds to do. All you have to do is Digg the above articles. If you have a minute more, please also email Digg, feedback@digg.com, to let them know that you'd like to see us runners get our own Digg category.

    Thanks!
