In an effort to reduce spam, the following rule has been put into effect:
Please note that anyone who spams this discussion group will be permanently BANNED from future participation in this group. Spam includes unrelated promotions of any kind (including website & product advertisements).
Also, anyone who continually attempts to publish/broadcast blatantly unrelated material, topics, & comments will be booted from the group.
Given the amount of spam that's been posted here (especially over the past several months), the admins of this group might have to consider changing our membership to a closed discussion group, particularly if members are finding it difficult to comply with the above rules. It's really not something we want to do, so let's all keep this group's membership open to all by complying with some very simple guidelines.

This post is only directed towards spammers. People who don't spam the group have nothing to worry about. 8-)

I've noticed that people are still spamming the message board with unrelated content. Posts must be directly related to running & cross-training, & should not contain product/service advertisements. Also, please do not post unrelated sports news content, etc.
If this keeps up, we are probably going to change the group membership to "closed" & require admin approval. Again, we don't want to have to do this, so please play by the rules. Thanks to those of you who've been honoring this arrangement. -
Due to the amount of unbridled spam appearing here over the last few months, I've changed the membership of this group to "closed." Anyone blatantly violating the posted rules of this group will be BANNED. This is being done out of consideration for ALL members of the group. The rules are simply & easy to follow. Becoming a member of this group means that you implicitly accept the terms of the spam policy & other rules as posted by the lead administrator of this group (me). Thanks for your cooperation so that we may all enjoy the group discussion here.
