I started last year 2007 when I bought my wife a camera. She did not use it so eventually I did and started falling in love with photography and getting addicted to it.
Here is my newest photoblog. I just started blogging so I have lots of catching up to do. Hope you'll enjoy looking at my photos.

I used different kinds of cameras since I been child. Last year (2007) I bought myself a DSLR, that's when it became real hobby.

Hi...Love your Blog great photos! I started with my first Minolta 7hi DSLR about 3 years ago which was a present...then the sensor went on me..I sent off for a new one. In the meantime purchased an Olympus pocket camera. Then got my last one a Pentax K10D for my birthday last year. I now have all three and love them all! I am so lazy..I should sit and read all the manuals but I hate tech talk. I want to act so I point and shoot and I guess it shows sometimes LOL!
I'm not worried about winning hearts or praise I just love taking photographs of just anything at all..I go everywhere with my camera! -
My name is Bobbi and I'm a freelance photographer. I have been taking pictures since an art teacher, way back in high school, gave me a camera and put me on the yearbook staff. He said I had a natural eye, and I have been doing this for over thirty years now.
I have dozens of cameras, my own darkroom, yes professional photographers do still use film, and in the right circles I'm rather well known. I have a few digital cameras, my favorite being the Nikon DSLR. Truth be told I still prefer my Pentax ME, yes it's an older film SLR, but it gives the best photos for the subject matter I usually shoot.
Thanks for the invite to join this group.

I feel in love with Photography back when I was in the military back in 1996. I liked to take my camera along with me on all my operations. I didnt have a very expensive camera but just something to carry along without worrying about it getting damage. I then realized that I loved photography and begun buying more cameras. When I got out of the military I bought a Konica Minolta Dimage 5 which was only 3.1 MegaPixels but was easy to use and the bad part was it was limited to lenses and zoom. I then later on purchased a new camera in 2005 which was my Canon Digital Rebel XT. It works great.

Never really dot the chance to shoot with film SLR. But I would really love to try it. I heard that the best part is having it processed in the darkroom.
What I heard and love about film SLR's is that they have the split prism focusing screen for ease manual focusing although now in the digital side thay came up with aftermarket that allows you to put split prism also. -
I started shooting a year ago (with April being my first year anniversary month of becoming a photographer). My mother's unexpected death at age 48 in 2005 sent me on this path to take the time and effort to do the things I had always wanted to do. I have always had a passion for photography, but I never felt the urgency to give it a go until my mother's passing. No day on this earth is promised, so if there's anything out there you've been wanting to try, then do it. Photography helped me see a new perspective on life, a new vision of a world that no longer had my mother in it. I have only been blogging for a few months and would appreciate comments, criticisms and ways I can make my information more useful. Check it out at www.pictureyourworldphotography.blogspot.com!

I'm a professional photographer currently, but got my start doing a friends wedding. I really enjoyed it and once I had kids I got serious about it. They make the perfect little test subjects! I still do weddings, but newborn pictures are my favorite.

Hi, all.
I was taking pictures since I was a kid. I was using dad's Polaroid camera, back in the 70's, and a Kodak Instamatic, with a 110 film cartridge!!!
I enjoy doing portraits, headshots, and figure photography.

Hi, my name is Vernon and I am a safari guide in Namibia. I am very keen on nature, and have built up a good field knowledge over the years. I have been guiding for nearly 11 years now.
I haven't had a good camera for years and finally bought myself a Canon 400D a few days ago. I have such special opportunities for photography in Namibia and so I am trying to learn as much as I can.
I have lead photographic safaris in the past, as well as assisted on various photo shoots and so I am trying to build skills to share with guests who may travel with me in the future as well. -
I got the microbe from my mother... But became a pro in the meantime :-)

Hello, I'm Jeff. I first got into photography about 3 yrs ago with the purchase of a Nikon d50 and news I was going to be a father. I always had an artistic side and photography provided such a perfect outlet. I now do it semi-professionally (primarily wedding and portrait photography) and am currently using the Nikon D300.

I specialize in portraiture, equestrian and travel photography. I have a professional website to market my business and a photoblog to expand my creativity.
When I was in high school, I loved photographs - but thought my poor eyesight would prohibit doing photography.
Years later after correcting my vision with contact lenses I persued my passion. -
Hi,
I am the newbie of all newbies. A couple of months ago, my point and shoot camera broke so I did decided to get an SLR. Never had one before. I am just learning (being taught by myself!) and I hope to improve as the days go by. I just recently created a phtoblog to record my journey and hoping that one year from now, I will have better pictures. Please check out my photoblog (peekinto-myworld.blogspot.com) if you have the time. Your comments are very welcome. -

i sort of started a photo blog some time last year after I moved abroad - the intention was to simply put any nice pics i took for my friends/family back home to see. I ended up taking my camera with me more and more often and now I just enjoy taking pictures for their own sake. I don't own an SLR, though I'm planning to buy one next year perhaps.I guess I'm learning to use what little resources I have with my little camera. Might help me use my new slr better next year.

My love of photography came from film, when you carried multiple body's for black B/W and colour film. I still shoot film today although am slowly getting into digital more but film will always be my love.
There is something sexy and magical watching your image come to life in the dim light of the darkroom.

Mobile Phone Cameras were becoming a trend when I changed my mobile phone for the first time sometime in 2005. With the first few clicks itself, I begun to draw some encouraging comments about my photos and starting taking pictures on a regular basis. The more praises I got the more I was interested in Photography. Even today, I'm using only a semi-manual Canon A710 IS. I love photography a lot and I have completed a course in the Basics of photography from National Institute of Photography in Mumbai!
As of now, I'm just trying to get inspired from the best of other photographers and learning :-)

My experience with photography (at this level....intended as passion, full hobby...and not only with "usual" travel/birthday/events pics... )commenced the last february when i bought a Canon EOS 450d.
From that day on (12/02/2009) I dont loose a day spending some of my freetime for photography.
I've an account on Flickr: www.flickr.com/photos/essecento and, one week ago I created my blog.
I wish to find new followers and to add many good links to interesting photography's blog into my favourite links list.
Cheers
