I use a Canon 50D, picked it for the high FPS (6.3) and MP (15). I kinda tailored my gear towards sports photography. But by far my favourite camera has to be the 5D MkII, I play around with them at work and the full frame sensor is amazing with its rendering of colours and contrast.

I don't have a digital SLR, but an old (acually two bodys) Canon EOS 50E. They are cheap (40 Euro), and can be used with all full-frame canon lenses. As the latter define the quality of your photo I think a film body is a good choice if you can do without digital.

this would be my second D-50. The first one Unfortunately was stolen. I bought this one used but it's in great shape. I'm not a professional photographer but when I first bought the D-50, folks were requesting headshots and wedding photography. I think it did wonders for my reputation.

Hi all!

I'd be interested to know what SLR's you all use (if you do) and why you chose it?
I'd like to write an entry to my site about what makes people choose which SLR and why, helping (hopefully!) making the decision easier for others in turn...

I use a Fuji S5 Pro, becuase it came in right on budget and does almost everything I want, except its a little slow on the Continous shooting side of things. Previously I've had Canons, and Ive switched to this as Canon simply offer nothing comparable for the price that is avaliable from new.

Let me know what you chose- and why!
