   Global unity is a noble cause but it will not be in my lifetime that we will see world peace or anything close to it. There is an element of greed, both for power and money that will prevent us from realizing peace.
   
   That being said, it is still something to hope for but we can make the most difference by promoting peace in our own small world. Those around us will benefit and our actions may be an example for someone else.
   
   Ask yourself if you are promoting peace or if you just like to rant about it. Too many are willing to throw stones in the name of peace. Try loving kindness and see for yourself how much farther you can get.

      I think our physical life existence is always going to be a struggle, because that is the nature of our limited physical existence. Our souls is free and willing to perfection, unity, love, peace, purity, our test in life is to overcome the struggle of our embodied souls to experience our limitations. try to imagine it as a student in primary school or secondary school or university trying to pass a hard exams to graduate and the purpose is to learn and expand our horizon and awareness to become a better souls.

   We can make a difference. We can effect this world by loving others. Unfortunately there is both good and evil in this world. We all make choices and cannot make choices for another. I believe we are called to do our part - to choose to make good choices, to care for others, to show love and to live lives that express thankfulness.

    you know, humans are the most complex animals on earth. the reasons are so many that we can't even deal with all. yes, we have our differences but we shouldn't let it stand in our way. when talking of UNITY, you look at religion, races, tribes, languages, sexes and many other things.
    to me, the biggest problems of humans illitracy and it's eating deep into us...

    @Reader with question of “Truth”, Based on our understanding of “TRUTH”, Truth is the confirmation of an indubitable reality. For example: if I said, “God exists”, it is true because there are indubitable realities that can be physically or spiritually confirmed that only God is capable of. Now, who is God or what is God is another matter. I encourage you to read The Five Elements, the link to which you can see on our page. Then make your own conclusion of our understanding of God.     We are globally united already, we just have to recognise it. I believe we are moving towards critical mass and once we understand that world peace is a merely blink away the world will change beyond recognition.

    For this to happen, I think there has to be a greater amount of people willing to transform or transmute their weakness into higher and pure purposes and feelings. I believe in the power of balance, but even if not all people were willing or already transforming, even if there were several with greed, feelings of envy, of fear, etc, even then a transformation would happen. Also the way some project universal love, some want it and practice it for their own wellness, to feel good, to feel right, to cure from illneses, and then it is another subtle but true way of "ego". I think or feel (better said) that if we want to be more united, understanding, tolerant, loving, encouraging and lacking of weakness for the sake of "it is what has to be done", regardless how good this is good for "me" and my "chackras" etc... if we love for Love itself, then it will effective, more effective, without having to hang on sects, or groups that have "differences" from others and some, and it is sad to say, in fact "hate each other". We can see this when we see different faiths face to face and who is the right one. I think it is not a reward what we have to wish for, but our work put into action what is the reward.

    First of all, I need to acknowledge the many positive and insightful posts on this topic. I enjoyed reading them and agree with most of them.
    
    My feeling is and always will be that this is a world of duality. It is a world of opposites – it is and always will be as long as there is individuality and various mindsets. We, as conscious beings, would have to think alike, work for a common goal, and have no opposing agenda. Peace is something of an idea that we know of only through a feeling we experience when things are going on way, no obstructions blocking the flow of our existence and absence of fear. We can condemn those who rattle our cages, and attack our way of life and call these people “evil”. And yet, they may feel the same about the ones they are attacking. Many have desired peace but few have really attained it. IMO the only thing that brings or keeps humanity together in unity is through “compassion”. When being in service to others without any desire for acknowledgement or reward, that is a feeling of true brotherhood.
    
    Can the world live together peacefully and harmoniously as a global family? I can only say that the way I perceive our species right now, probably not. But in lifetimes to come through the karmic cycle of birth, death and rebirth, the world we create is the world we will inhabit. Change the mindset, and the world changes accordingly. .

    Sure the elementary students are since the "world leaders" put it in their head : the ONE idea is just about pushing the Globalization agenda which will be all but global financial slavery as it began 2 century ago:
