   It started out as keeping everyone up to date as I moved to the other side of the world. Then I found that some people liked my writing, so I started writing more about places I visited and my experiences. It also helps me keep a journal of everything I've done.

   The same thing as chinamatt... first was to keem my family and friends up to date of my adventures in Europe... cause I wanted to avoid the thing of arriving back after a year being outside and answer the questions "So, what did you see/do there?" hehehe it would have been a looooong story to tell and I am very lazy hehehehe.... so i tried to do it almost "live"...
   
   But after... I saw there was people even people I didnt know was reading my blog and leaving good comments (some people saying they were virtually-traveling thanks to my pictures and stories) made me very happy and encouraged me to continue and here I am.
   
   And why did I do the blog bilingual... because after a year in Italy I made non spanish speaking friends and I wanted them to be able to read my blog too... thats why....
   
   And yes me too I am willing to exchange links with travel blogs, so if someone wants to do it just add my link to yours and tell me to do the same

   As Chinamatt, in my case a Brit expat living part of the year in France, the rest in Chiang Mai Thailand. Why? Keeping friends up to date, a journal we can look back at when the memories start to fade, a narrative that interests strangers and potential new friends around the web, with photos, stories and current affairs...
