   I'm not so sure; it seems that all presidents are controlled in certain areas, and i would suggest that the UFO phenomenon is one such area.
   However, for starters, i hope that they follow the MOD (UK)and French Government, and start releasing UFO files.... this would start the ball rolling, and open up, for possibly more information/discussion.
   SO in answer to Is it achievable? possibly, but this is going to take time, and will, i believe, not happen out of the blue.
   Also, i'm sorry to put this into the mix; i am also not sure how much the governments truly know about the UFO phenomenon?
   Sorry if this seems confusing...

   DanDare thank you for your comment I totaly agree with reference to the control that as been applied to past Presidents with reference to the UFO
   issue I to hope that the US Goverment follow the UK and French Goverments by releasing their UFO files to the American people and the world at large.
   However it does seem as if,(at this early stage of President Barack Obama's administration)disclosure could be starting to unfold by his signing the recently publicised issuing of"two Executive Orders and threePresidential Memorandums that will start an era of transparent and Open Government.The Press Secretary of The White House released a statement outlining the sweeping changes to be implemented by the Obama administration.His Presidential Memorandum on Transparency and Open Government and the Presidential Memorandum on the Freedom of Information Act".

   Hi RgnPc. The million Fax on Washington Campaign was. I believe, a step in the right direction towards disclosure. It has, as far has I am aware, proved to be very well supported with numerous letters.faxes,emails pouring into the Washington Transition Headquarters office calling, on the new President to initiate a process that would lead to full disclosure.
   Following this, it was suggested by a Youtube member(polyrhythmic1)that the campaign continue to advocate disclosure by converting the name to "Fax on the White House"he went on to say"UFO Disclosure will happen during Barack Obama's Presidency. The 60+ years of lies and denial will crumble. WE THE PEOPLE are becoming more educated on the very broad history of the UFO cover up.
   
   UFOs have been tracked on radar, and seen by high ranking military personal, airline pilots, and law enforcement personal. Project Blue Book was a PR campaign to quell the public's interest in UFOs.
   
   The Condon Report was bias and had a negative opinion of UFOs from the start. The U.S. Air Force paid the Condon Committee $313,000 for it's report. It was bought and paid for. The U.S. Air Force uses the conclusions of the Condon Report to this very day to justify the termination of Project Blue Book and it's lack of interest in the study of UFOs.
   
   There are many good books you can read on the subject but don't believe everything you read, hear, or see. There are charlatans out there. After 10 years of in depth research I can say without a doubt that "some" UFOs are intelligently controlled devices and are ET in origin."
   
   I to wonder what Stephen Greer thinks about President Barack Obama,inorder to find out I have started to research your interesting point.
   With regard to your last point "At best they might release afew documents" you could well be proven right, time will tell my friend but forgive me for saying that I do hope for a positive outcome.

   Hi 22050hz with the latest article in The sun news paper (UK) with ref to The Royal Air Force Pilots being ordered to fire on UFO's "It was claimed last night, the RAF pilots have tried to BLAST UFOs out of the sky under a top secret Government directive.
   Former Ministry of Defence worker Nick Pope who had been working for them for 21 years including three years at the UFO desk, revealed the rules of engagement for the first time. He claimed that RAF pilots had fired on UFOs on several occasions, but had failed to bring them down." It does seem that a shift in the Govermental position regarding UFO's is on the cards. We can only hope that this will be the tip of the perverbial iceberg leading towards disclosure all the very best my friend

   Sorry to butt in here, but i'm afraid that The Sun is a tabloid paper, and no one takes it seriously at all (even if it is one of the leading paper sellers - if that makes sense). It also makes up most of the stories about ufo sightings and so on, with virtually no facts, and uses hype and sensationalism, and from my viewpoint does not help Ufology at all; in fact in the long run it is damaging the subject.
   I also ( i'm afraid) would like to make people wary of Nick Pope, who seems to be influenced by money and other influences, too be a reliable source of anything. I cannot go into detail here, but i will write an article on my blog and post a link (if i may), to why he is also not helping the cause.
   Sorry a bit off topic.

    I doubt if the puppet Obama will be disclosing anything unless it serves the government to do so.
    
    Our only hope is the UFO's reveal themselves with very obvious mass sightings that can not be ignored. Even then there will be so much cover ups/spin/dis-info that it will be hard to understand the truth.
    
    Also beware of Project Blue Beam - a possible false UFO invasion staged to scare the population into accepting even more government control.
