Hello, I am green & vegetarian but not gay. But I live in the gayborhood so I figure I'll be welcome enough around here. I went veg 3 years ago when I learned about the effects of meat on global warming. Since then I have become very active in communicating the effects of food choices to others, although I don't take a hard stance on vegetarianism because I think it's important to encourage omnivores who are open to learning and making more responsible choices, even if they aren't the same choices I would make.
