Do you ever feel like there is just not enough time in the day?

In recent years I have found that one can fit a large amount of tasks in a day if you plan and multi-task. Most of days however I do run out of day before all my tasks are completed. This seems to be an on going thing. I don't ever feel like I will catch up some days.
On my very optimistic days I feel like I can do it all.
What I have discovered those is that I need to at least make steps to move forward. Even if they seem like micro steps at least they are stems. I also try and write daily things accomplished down on paper so that later I can see progress made.
Does anyone else struggle with this? I talk about this a lot on my personal blog, SuperMom Life ( supermomlife.com ). You won't see many updated posts on this blog though- I just don't have enough time do to it all ;).

Although our son is 29 and getting married in June (finally!), I know what you mean in a slightly different way. I am a telecommuter for a Denver business think tank and I research and write about business about 10 hours a day from my home office. I strive to also maintain my blog, care for our three cats, remember to eat, volunteer at church and work on my new book. I finally figured out that - for me - I have to make lists and not be hard on myself when I accomplish less than I intended to.
Good luck, hon.

I pretty much learn to let some things do (housework for example) and delegate some tasks to my husband (grocery shopping). The things that I do not fit in, well I figured they are not that important anyway. But unlike most women, I always fit in 30 minutes for exercise a day. That is an important priority for me.

Yes, as I sit here at 10:30 pm, when I planned to turn off the computer at 9:00! Honestly, though, the things that are sitting on my to do list (or scattered around the living room floor) are the things I don't really want to do anyway! The one thing I need to do is spend more focused time with my son each day, as it is too easy to be distracted when he wants my attention.

It definitely takes planning & multi-tasking. I always seem to run out of time to get everything done. I find that if I create a 'To do list' the night before I have a plan in place for the next day to help give me focus. Even small steps are progress.
I've read that it's important to get the things you dont want to do out of the way... by doing them first... so you can get on with what you do enjoy. The things left undone can drain your energy and begin to pile up.

sometimes we have enough time it's just either mismanaged or we're trying to do too much-
Hi Naturalwoman,
Just popped over & read your post... great reading and the comments also offered great suggestions. The 'To Do List' to download (in free ebooks) on my blog I mentioned I find is a great help for me to have all notes in one place.... all I need is extra time to get it all done.

This is me... I can so relate. Some days I have energy and then do too much and the next day am so tired I can barely function.

I have been asking that question for the first 20 years of my life. Now I just accept it. I think if I made a little bit of progress a day, that will be enough for me.
But I have a tip up my sleeve for all of the blogging mom out there who don't have enough time, you can make 10 blog a day and then schedule it for each day. The only difficult thing is to come up with 10 different topics. But if you can, you will feel less stressed out if you don't make a post in a few days.
