   To get 1000 page views per day, you need to create "Fat" content, then make sure your content is linked to from several different credible sources.

   web500.us was created at Oct 31, 2007 and now have 300 pageview from google search and 200 from in coming links. Total of 700 page views a day. To get google search: need to be do some good SEO. The wordpress all in one SEO plug in is really good. web500.us/top-50-wordpress-plugins-for-power-blogging/
   
   To get in coming links is to post on forums and contribute to the forums. Then put your site as a signature. You often get a lot of traffic this way and build page rank quickly.
   
   Although I have not got 1000 page view a day yet. But for a site which is only five months old, I am very happy to get 700 page view a day, and will get to 1000 in a few months.

   If you are struggling for ideas try writing about current issues such as politics, sports, celebrity, product reviews, holiday reviews etc. When you actually sit down and think about it there is so much you could write about.
   
   Make sure you target popular key phrases. This is vital if you are planning for over 1000 visitor’s per day. Try Google's free keyword tool for keyword suggestion. Try different markets and see which ones are most popular.
   
   Targeting keywords is not the only process to go through. Search for Blog SEO in Google. Essentially for success you will have to become part of a community and contribute valid and worthwhile information that your visitors will want more of. Submitting your site to various social media sites will help increase exposure. Search for Social Media Marketing in Google.

   I have found that posting over 1000 photos on flickr - that many of which link back to my web site, blog & store - is just one way to get some excellent traffic spikes. Yahoo owns flickr & indexes these photos very well.

   yes you should at best choose niche topics which have few competition, use the all in one seo pack widget too.
   the insert rss feeds from related sites to your blog or sites which have top rated updated current affairs newscasts into your sidebar widgets.
   make some blogspot miniblogs too and insert feed from your wordpress blog. Make accounts on topic related forums 9ones that have like thousands of post views) find posts that have tens of thousands of views or on the way, and post something really interesting.. make sure your profile has your url or your signature, so that when people view your profile they will click on your url.
   Above all make sure you have "add me" social networking buttons on your wordpress blog placed at the bottom of posts visible to surfers (ie the "add to any" bookmark button widget).. when you post then view your post click on your add to any and post the links to your facebook and other social networking profiles
   on facebook join topic related groups and post your links on their pages... socialize lots on other networks and make friends.. use blogged too to post on forums.. make sure you post regularly. add the comment twitter widget to wordpress blog too so that all yopur posts are automatically posted to your twitter page. make sure you installed the google xml sitemaps widget. make sure the title of your posts is short and related to the content of the post. when inserting keywords in the all in one seo widget fields, scan the post and see which words are repeated the most and insert those words as keywords.. check google webmaster tools, yahoo sitesearch and also bing.com for your webmaster tools page and submit your sites.. verify them on the respective control panels and add sitemaps... then start posting again on your own blog and other forums and your social networks. dont forget to searhc other blogs with blogger and wordpress and comment on blogs that get lots of traffic
   find sites to get reciprocal links from.... anyway thats a few tips from many.. the real answer is lots of work as you can see from what i am saying here its a lot fo work and time and effort. Nothing is for free in this world remember that. Only the luckiest people get traffic by coincidence
