Online Publications

We had a thread not long ago about print publications, and of course the vast majority of us are bloggers, but we haven't invited the sharing of online publications outside our blogs. I did a little retrospective on my writing blog today, because it's my birthday, and while I was listing an odd sampling of my online publications it occurred to me that we hadn't opened a thread to share those here, and they're the easiest to share since they're just a link away. So...show us your stuff.

Here's my retrospective post: rockstories.blogspot.com/2008/06/tiffany-retrospective.html

  1. Well, a journal article online doesnt count, since it appeared in print too and the online version is hidden behind a password. Only one other thing online, a review of a Mac word processor:

    www.atpm.com/14.01/mellel.shtml

Oh, and Happy Birthday, you youngster, you!
  2. Then I wish you a very Happy Birthday MadameX. Let this day and the 365 following are placed under the signs of health, love, joy, success and luck.
  3. I have a webcomic, that's online publication.

Speaking of which, I should get today's update online.
  4. Ok, here's one of my poems from an online journal: aroostookreview.umfk.maine.edu/poetry/lubin.htm
    1. An evocative piece. Builds a scene and a viewpoint. "I've seen worse," as we say in Minnesota.

And, as a recovering English teacher: I have seen worse.
  5. I've got three websites that might qualify as 'online publications.' Links to Brendan's Island, Minnesota for Web-Wise Travelers, and Easy Griller are at www.brianhgill.com/ .
    1. i run a local online magazine at www.newbrunswicklife.com. it covers local events and businesses. i'm trying to explore the nooks and crannies of the community.
    2. Pretty good idea. I would think so: I'm doing something similar.

Seriously: it's one of the relatively few ways (IMO) that one person can offer something unique on the Web.

And, having skimmed over the first page of NBL, I've got 1/6 of my day's quote of micro-reviews taken care of. Next stop for me, "Apathetic Lemming of the North."

      Thanks!
