    Not very convincing.

    Slick editing... fascinating fiction.

      did you say fascistnating?

I was hoping it's be something more than a poorly edited video a fifth grader could make on his computer.

And notice that not one of the detractors actually mention the facts of the video, but have all kinds of statements as to everything else.

I've seen it twice, there is a lot of oppinion, which one can take or leave, but the facts that are presented are facts nonetheless. Just not very flattering if you're A die hard Republican or Democrat.

then we would actually have to open it. hello, the OP kind of gives away what the intent here is o_0

So having watched a couple of minutes here, I wonder what that has to do with the OP. Who are these "moderate Republicans" you speak of. And who are you promoting who are not on board with this crony-governance?

To better understand what the video is about, you need to watch more than just a couple of minutes. As far as your next question, “Who are these "moderate Republicans" you speak of?” They are the ones who under the veil of "negotiations," kept Obamacare alive. The American people for months have been sending the message loud and clear that they want no part of Obamacare, period, regardless of what form it takes. Those are also the same politicians that allowed the Federal Reserve to recently loan two trillion dollars without knowing to whom, for what or the disclosure of terms. The Federal Reserve has no real oversight by anyone, and it’s time for these politicians to get the message loud and clear. (Watch the whole video.) Now for your next question, “And who are you promoting who are not on board with this crony-governance?” There’re out there, but if you’re a liberal, the bad news for you is that they’re all conservatives. We need to learn from our past mistakes and before voting, find out the candidate’s passed association’s, voting record, and stop believing what the progressives in media are telling you. The buss is speeding to go over a cliff and we need to get hold of the staring wheel and the brakes.
We have intentionally corrupted our teaching institutions, ignored our history, no longer teach our founding documents and are trying to destroy everything that makes this great nation exceptional. We have voted for change, but is this the change that we wanted?

"intentionally corrupted our teaching institutions, ignored our history, no longer teach our founding documents and are trying to destroy everything that makes this great nation exceptional"

If you've read my blog you will note that I feel this way as well. Though no doubt for different reasons

"The American people for months have been sending the message loud and clear that they want no part of Obamacare, period, regardless of what form it takes."

'The American people'?!? A MAJORITY of 'the American people' voted for Obama and his planned agenda - including health insurance reform. The MAJORITY of Americans - left and right - want some form of health insurance reform and it's not part of some big conspiracy as the video claims.

Sensible (moderate) Republicans support reform because... well, it's makes sense. Health insurance rates are climbing much faster than people's incomes, some are being denied coverage and millions remain uninsured. Americans pay more for health care and receive less than people in many other countries. The right seems to prefer the health of big corporations.

"The bus is speeding to go over a cliff and we need to get hold of the staring wheel and the brakes."

The bus was about to go over a cliff until Americans voted irresponsible Republicans out of office. Now progressives have their hands on the wheel, but many on the right are being misinformed by dishonest bloggers, divisive pundits and faux cable news channels into believing ridiculous conspiracy theories and fabricated falsehoods.

I also feel compelled to note that some of those criticisms in the opening sequence came from liberals, like Rachel Maddow... just sayin'
    1. csiunatc
Yes, this is not party oriented. is there any way to make this more clear to you.

Maybe you should just watch it. We know Democrats have a tendency to speak without knowing, not to mention vote without reading bills.. But that you would be proud of this surprises me a little.
    2. Agit8r
      A) I'm not a democrat. B) The OP specifically targeted "Liberals" and "moderate republicans" so it seems safe to assume that the person who posted this is further right than those people (and certainly moreso than Maddow or the guy with Chomsky on his desk there in the video.

I think that the movement we are seeing now is the future of America, as more and more people dare to think for themselves. and not just swallow the party line hook line and sinker, they'll dare to vote for independents.

Maybe not next election, but I think it's coming sooner or later. If nothing else, the internet is making it possible for someone outside the established duopoly to actually be heard.
    1. Agit8r
"they'll dare to vote for independents."

      like Bernie Sanders?
    2. polybore
More like Palin. As CSI says maybe it is time for a move away from the two party system.
  9. ReneMonroe
Corruption favors neither political party, only politicians. However, it has been bred into the fabric of America to gravitate to one of these political ideologies out of the belief that the voter would be aligning themselves with a politician who claims to be liberal or conservative while forsaking what the platforms of those political philosophies are.

Barack Obama is no more a true liberal just as George W. Bush was not a conservative. Neither men hold to their claimed political persuasion. Rather they simply campaigned on what would get them elected no matter what that would be.
    1. Agit8r
coruption is a PRODUCT of political parties. they have a duopoly on power and can give prospective voters a decidedly limited choice; a lesser of two evils.

That I tend to think of the Democrats as the lesser of two evils doesn't mean that I believe them to be inherently virtuous, but rather that the alternative is even worse.
  10. Cybercorrespondent
What are you talking about? Just think what would happen if any other political party pushed for a cap and trade bill that would create green jobs of which 9 of 10 created would be unsustainable requiring government subsidizing, could cost the nations economy millions of real jobs and increase manufacturing costs which would be passed on to the consumers in a time of a depression. No matter if you are a Democrat, Republican, Independent, Libertarian or a Martian, what do you think is going to happen when the government revenues are down and spending is quadrupled? One must to be four cans short of a six-pack to believe that wiping out the U.S. dollar to reduce the purchasing power of their salaries and their retirement savings is a good thing.
How do you think the media or yourself would react if republican Senators were negotiating behind closed doors on Senator Max Baucus' ObamaCare 6.0 proposal that hasn't been written yet?
On an almost straight party-line vote, Democrats in the Senate Finance Committee squashed an amendment by Senator Jim Bunning that would have required Baucus' ObamaCare bill to be posted on the Internet - for all Americans to read - for 72 hours prior to the Committee voting on it.
    Give me a break

I could argue with you all day about which is worse, but when it comes down to it a lesser evil is still evil
