Factcheck.org in run by the Annenberg Foundation, which was set up as a charitable trust by Walter Annenberg. here is some info on him. Thought y'all might find it interesting--no more, no less

Unfortunately, people peddling lies an association with Obama as an excuse to discount all the good work they do. And they don't care if PolitiFact (www.politifact.com/truth-o-meter/) is doing the same thing.
I couldn't have survived the election season without these two sites.
Maybe the alleged imbalance comes from the fact that the right was caught out more often than the left, as if that proved something other than that there were more lies on the right?
Anyway, maybe the picture of Reagan and Annenberg's history more generally will make some people on this site take FactCheck more seriously? Hope springs eternal.-

Do you have a link to an article that discredits or proves bias regarding FactCheck.org?? Obama chairing the parent foundation over 10 years ago does not prove bias on the part of FactCheck.org. I doubt the website even existed when he was a chairman. -
He can offer you tons of blog posts about it. I suppose if you multiply the mantra by tons you get . . . wait . . . oh, just the same mantra.
