I know how it sounds but I cannot help it. I hate conspiracy theories, and I want things out in the clear.
US oil companies and Middle East oil producers must be really irked by the fall in oil prices. The US funds Israel, oil sheiks fund Hamas would it be very easy to tell the people what to do in order to help with the oil price slump.
Same in Pakistan the former CIA clients the Taliban and present day clients Pakistani military play hide and seek and make us look like fools.
I only can't find Russia's role here. They stand to benefit from higher oil prices yet don't seem to openly provoke conflict in the Middle East.
My sympathies for the Jews and Arabs caught in this dirty game of criminal greed.

The fact that my prediction proved true doesn't make me happy at all

Um, you left out something, the commodity traders, in this country at least, from what I understand played a significant role in the price of our oil. Had we not bailed out Lehman brothers the price might have stayed down.

The conspiracy doesn't stop at our shores, but it certainly has a pretty nice office on Wall Street.

That's exactly right. Since the deregulation of the commodities markets in the year 2000, speculators started determining the price of commodities. The Russian Mafiya is also involved in manipulating oil prices.
