How about kids singing praise in schools for Obama!

A new controversy involving President Obama and school children could be brewing. This one isn't about a speech it's about a song.
SONG: "MM, mm, mm! Barack Hussein Obama. He said that we all must lend a hand To make this country strong again"
This YouTube video of kids at the B. Bernice Young Elementary in Burlington.. New Jersey.. is making headlines on Fox News. In it.. the children are singing about honoring President Obama and praising him for his accomplishments. The school superintendent says the taping was unauthorized. But Fox News says the school didn't address whether the lesson was approved by the district.

So our children cannot pray in school - they cannot say "One nation under God" in the Pledge of Allegiance, but it is perfectly okay for them to sing "He said red, yellow, black or white All are equal in his sight" ??
One of the other songs that isn't getting as much mention is the spiritual hymn, "Jesus Loves The Little Children." They took out the name Jesus and replaced it with Obama.
This is really creepy and if it occurred in my children's school I would be extremely upset. I don't pay taxes for my kids to get indoctrinated. -
I posted in one of my blogs just yesterday about this, I am so upset about it...So is our new God Obama? is our God the Government?
Who created the air, our lungs?
Also;
They are changing the Constitution, the one "thou shall not kill? to "They shall not murder?" is there a difference when taking a life?

If Obama gets his way and increases the time kids spend in school, then the teachers will have less time for other activities, like...oh, I don't know - maybe blogging?

This is all wrong. They are supposed to be singing praises for polybore.
How can this be Obama has had absolutely no contact with this school, unlike polybore who was on the phone to them for months. Can't trust anyone to do anything right these days.-
It was that release of that Libyan that screwed it up for poor old Scottish Polybore.

What gets me is that the intent of this thread is to criticize Obama. If there is any truth to what happened, it doesn't mean that the president has a damn thing to do with it. Ditto his supporters.
But with no positive programs to offer that are relevant to actual needs in the country, what else is the angry, freaked out right going to do?-
Well, so far they have said that, Obama has been trying to kill your Granny, indoctrinate your kids and subvert your religion. Polybore's bet is that it will be your wife or your daughter he is after next. Maybe that's what they have really wanted to say all along. Who knows?

That is outrageous. Asking people to eat, even a minority, of her husbands political opponents is disgraceful and surely unconstitutional.

Sorry it may appear that polybore is being partisan. It is born of a certain frustration at the petty nature of a lot of tha anti Obama rhetoric when his administration could be more effectively brought to book on issues that really matter but escape attention because everyone is talking about some evocative but inconsequential tit bit.
Like levying a tariff on Chinese tyre imports. The administration getting pushed around by the old guard in congress. The renewable energy plan that simply cannot meet it's targets.
Not to mention taking down the bust of Churchill from the Oval office and returning it to the UK. Or the crappy DVD box set he gave Gordon Brown in NTSC format which is unplayable in the UK with it's superior PAL standard. (Little bit of polyboredom there for you).

Really, how would many of you react around here if they were singing this about Bush. Whether some of you around here want to admit it or not, this is political indoctrination. Look at the full lyrics that antics posted: "He said we must be fair today/ Equal work means equal pay". This is a tenant of socialism and income redistribution. Teachers are politicizing the education system and it absolutely has to stop! Schools are no place for politics!
