ATTAIN INNER PEACE THRU MEDITATION, THEN OUTER PEACE WILL HAPPEN BY ITSELF. sounds too simple, right? yet our enlightened masters from ancient and contemporary times from india have said this again and again. it is simply up to us to practice and realize it within ourselves. the more people do it, the more the peace and bliss will spread from the inside to the outside engulfing all of planet earth. utopia? no. try for yourself for only one month or even only one week and see what happens inside of you

Nithyananda Dhyanapeetam is a worldwide movement for meditation and healing. The foundation has its spiritual headquarters in Bengaluru (Bangalore), India, and it's Western headquarters as Life Bliss Foundation in Los Angeles. The advent of Paramahamsa Nithyananda on planet earth is to create a new cycle of individual consciousness causing Collective Consciousness to enter into the Super Conscious zone. To achieve this, Nithyananda Mission aims to initiate 100 million people into the unique meditation Nithya Dhyaan and one hundred thousand people to 'living enlightenment'.

The true essence of life cannot be realized without continuous examination of the social influences, which shape our daily existence. Politics and the rule of law, creates either stability or chaos. Culture and the morals of the society in general are the way in which humankind expresses their individuality and diversity in a single self or as a whole nation. Brutality, hunger, starvation, oppression and the suffering of children are the order of the day yet many turn a blind eye; therefore, truth becomes a cliché.

There is no question that the events of our time are the consequence of the policies of our governments around the globe. A political party in power within a country is the direct result of the perception of its people about their domestic and the international affairs. Our histories, cultures and religious beliefs and that which we are told of other peoples are what mainly shape such a perception. If these stated factors are not represented truthfully, justice is not served and peace is consequently compromised.

I disagree with those who say education is the key on the simple fact that most people don't actually bring anything home from their education. The best way to create "peace" (I don't know why we even use that word for it - certainly world peace has nothing to do with the inner kind) is to expand and integrate global economies until the cost of going to war is too high and the sharing of folk tradition and the wisdom of, not great scholars, but the little man becomes thorough enough at the community level to find war distasteful.

Golda Mier, as head of the Jewish State, dealt with conflict most of her life. She also has some wonderful and insightful quotes.
On peace: "We shall have no peace with the Arabs until they love their children more than they hate us."
On Arab Conflict: "We don't thrive on military acts. We do them because we have to, and thank God we are efficient. "
