Katie Couric's objective Barack Obama interview

I can't stand Katie Couric or for that matter, CBS as a whole. News came out that they edited Couric's John McCain interview to make him look good and of course, they tried to make Obama look bad.

There's a link to the interview just above my cartoon. She asks the same question over and over when she doesn't get the answer she wants. Obama is sharp, though. The third time she asked him about the surge, he answered, "for the third time..."
She did that in her John Edwards interview when he was still in the running, asking about how the public would be concerned that he wouldn't be able to focus on his presidency when his wife had cancer. I think she asked him that about 10 times.

Okay, I had to blog about this topic after all. Not about Couric, who probably thinks she was doing good journalism, but about the whole false premise of the surge issue:

Here's reputable news of a reputable study that reveals the media being tougher on Obama than McCain lately: www.latimes.com/news/politics/la-na-onthemedia27-2008jul27,0,712999.story
