What do you think of this video?

I peronally think its great and as many of you know I have defended her on occasion. But Keith is so good at these special comments I couldn't help but laugh his sarcasm is second to none. Let me know what you think. Does this sort of media help or hurt? Does it shed light on both sides of the story?

That's a great commentary. Olbermann writes his own scripts. But I don't blame Palin. Everyone has the right to be a nut in a free society. It's her followers that I have a problem with and the fact that they will try to steal the election to get her and McCain into office.

Olbermann is gifted. I am grateful that he and Rachel Maddow are on the air to add some balance to the right-wing commentators. Olbermann et al never ceases to amaze me as to how quickly they are able to research the issues of the day and come up with interesting, provocative and funny commentary every evening.
I see a little Edward R. Murrow influence in him. He is a guy I would like to sit down and have a beer with, discuss politics and sports. -
Thanks for sharing that. Hard-hitting and to the point.
Does it help? Well, I don't see him changing minds. Die-hard conservatives will just label him and not listen. Still, maybe a few of the undecided will listen and think, hmmm, he's got a point, maybe this mud is meaningless and I should focus on the issues. Hard to say.
He's right about the mud-slinging though. It did Bob Dole absolutely no good in 1992. -
i love Olberman and Maddow, but I've had enough with the constant hammering on Palin. She's a side-show, a freakish caricature of an American politician, and the more coverage she gets, the less attention is being paid to McCain and his positions.
I truly believe that even hardcore conservatives don't even really like her, they're just supporting her out of spite. I mean, if I didn't like government, I'd probably vote for the person most likely to f-things up, too. -

I was inspired by Olbermann's piece, but he didn't go far enough. So, I did. I just wrote an article thoroughly examining Palin's connection to the AIP and uncovering some as yet undisclosed comments from its founder, Joe Vogler.
