The GOP may be at it again using this crisis to play the dirty games they have played so well in the past.

The original story titled "Lose your home lose your vote"(www.michiganmessenger.com/4076/lose-your-house-lose-your-vote), was printed in the Michigan Messenger and the paper has been asked to retract the story but is sticking to their guns
“There will be no retraction because Mr. Carabelli and Mr. Anuzis’ claims are unfounded. The quotes were not fabricated. Michigan Messenger and the Center for Independent Media stand behind this story 100 percent."

I'm not surprised because it appears they are behind in registered new voters, and if Roves is calling McCain less than truthful ( which is Rove language means liar) they have problems.

I think some people are starting to rethink this Palin love fest they had for a couple of weeks.

Once you take the lipstick away you have to face the issues.

Fact check is your friend, and the lies are adding up, luckily those on the fence are jumping back on it.

I personally am not surprised I know the tactics they used last time, this time they are using the mortgage crisis as their friend. I've been away for a few days not paying attention to this so I'm going to have to follow it.

If they think the mortgage crisis is going to be their friend, they've got another thing coming. They may be able to use it to disenfranchise voters, but it'll cost them a lot more GOP votes than their dirty tricks can offset. Bush = Economy, McCain = Bush.

I'd heard about the Michigan case ... Wisconsin is news to me but I'm not surprised. There was also something going on in Virginia, where announcements were being in a university town that students who registered to vote in that precinct would lose their financial aid - go figure!

It's all so typical of a party/cabal that has no shame, and will stoop lower than any or us can possibly imagine. It's not even that they care about winning the election - they care about their own hold on power!
