So Obama has stepped in, when will the Israel-Palestine issue be addressed? Hopefully the US will start doing something before Netanyahu is elected in February. He might make things a little more difficult. Read this. planetearthlooksblue.today.com/

Peace in the Middle East isn't that hard. Just get rid of the groups that want to destroy Israel (i.e.: Hamas, Hezbollah, their satellite and splinter groups, and elements of the gov'ts of Iran, Syria, and possibly others). The rest would come down to peaceful negotiations between motivated, interested parties.
Remember that less than 200 years ago the British decimated the U.S. in the War of 1812, burning down the White House in the process. Western Europe went through two wars in the last 100 years. Japan attacked most of Asia in the 1930s, then fought and lost the Pacific War. These regions have made sufficient progress toward peace that no one is bombing, shelling, or otherwise attacking one another.
The same can happen in the Middle East, as soon as the groups mentioned above are eliminated, or give up their long-term objective of destroying Israel.
