That is a great video. I love how Schiff just calmly presents his (accurate) predictions and the other guys not only disagree with him but talk condescendingly and laugh at him. If I was Schiff, I would e-mail a link to this video to all those other analysts with the subject line "Who's laughing now jackass?" And I'd also demand that the first guy give me a penny.

I know. Just goes to proof that the negative news will never be listened to in an up economy.

The bandwagon is much too tempting.

I finally got a chance to watch this video... and I want to know why everyone who mocked and ridiculed what Peter Schiff had to say still have jobs in any industry. The fact that they still draw paychecks and breath proves that there is no god, or at least there's no god worth the effort to worship if he's going to let this happen on his watch.

The one thing this does prove, is something i've been saying about economists for a long time.

The Nobel Prize in Economics is the only one given to the one who was the least wrong.

Jimmy Carter predicted this, it was his platform the year he lost to Reagan.
There were books written about this ten years ago, this was not a new position it was just an ignored position.

We punished countries who practiced fiscal prudence and were not free market friendly, while we borrowed to finance tax cuts. Old stuff, our country missed the boat and most people were very well aware of this possibility.
