Bush will just pardon him. It's better to wait until we have a new president who has some respect for the constitution.

Hmmmm... legally can a later president rescind a pardon issued by a prioer sitting president? anyone know?

No, a presidential pardon is absolute.

But a guy would have to be convicted in order to be pardoned in the first place, I should think. That couldn't happen so fast.

I saw it, I agree with it, I signed the petition, with my real name even.

I think it is important for those of us who feel strongly on these issues to take a public stance. Thank you for posting this so we could take action.

Not only am I for it, I think Rove in the Big House would make an excellent reality TV series.

Last I heard, justice in this country is not supposed to be decided by popular opinion but by the law, though popular opinion has been known to light a fire under a sometimes complacent law's ass.

Exactly, so if we could float the idea of a reality show about Karl Rove in prison to the general public, I think that would definitely garner enough enthusiasm to make it happen....

I think people who watch reality TV have never heard of Karl Rove.

Well, what a great way to educate them!
