For some time now advocates for D.C.'s right to vote have been making their voices heard. The 600,000 Americans who live in the Nation's Captial do not enjoy the right to vote as do others in the 50 states. D.C. has troops in Iraq and Afghanistan fighting for the right to vote for those people, but still lack the right to vote at home. Is the time now to change this? Why or why not?

Well they are not a state so there lies a problem though it shouldn't be. If they have electoral college votes (which D.C. has 3 for those who don't know) and so more than likely popular vote should count there as well.

It seems they should at least have representation in the House in that such is based on population rather than statehood
