Stand Against Violence is a campaign set up in 2005 after the murder of Lloyd Fouracre. The aim of the campaign is to raise awareness of violence and its consequences by providing educational material, including the short film found on the website www.sav-ed.co.uk to those who wish to use it. Further information, teaching material and the film can also be found on the site.

Do you have any hints/tips on how best to approach local schools and get this material into their citizenship programme?

If you want to know more and keep up to date you can follow SAViolence on Twitter (twitter.com/SAViolence) and watch all the press videos on the YouTube channel (www.youtube.com/user/SAViolence)

All help and information will be greatly received.

Thanks

There are few greater tragedies in this world then true lawlessness. The sheer amount of pain and tragedy inflicted on this earth by those who won't respect any human dignity, any human authority, or any human right of someone else, or indeed, any human being in any manner and any capacity, is just heartbreaking.

Jeremyjanson, I totally agree! What these guys did to Lloyd was unimaginable, and I am just so happy that his brother chose to do something positive to possibly prevent other families going through such tradegy.

Unfortunately, violence is all over the world.
